Got a phonecall from a co worker I worked with last monday. Her son has had a party and now one of his friends has Covid. My co worker has to go in quarantaine for 5 days. She tested negative at a home test but phoned everyone she has contact with. I phoned with work but Iām allowed to work they say. Friday she has another test and fingers crossed itās still negative thenā¦
Yesterday a well known crime journalist is shot in the head in Amsterdam, the city @Mno lives in. I do not know him personal, but when you see a person often on tv it seems like you do.
My thoughts are with him and his loved ones

Well Claudia, the first day I get home my neighbours are gonna help cleaning up all the dust and the mess so weāre planning to pick up now the day after tomorrow. It was a difficult decision but I think in the end that itās better for me to take it easy take it step-by-step and that means that Iām going to take my dog back one day later and she gets into a clean Happy House Iāll even put on some how do you say that in English ā¦

To get back at the crime analyst in Amsterdam, donāt get me wrong, but he was on a hit list for at least 25 years and he just refused to stop engaging in things you shouldnāt. I think the reason why he got shot whatās his connection with the crown witness in the process against reduan tachi, the Mocro mafia boss.
The guy had plenty and in the in the history he did some foul play as well. But joost how do you know??? Believe me I do, he got too far in too many bad businesses since the abduction of Freddy Heinekenā¦ Do not take this by mistake, nobody deserves to be shot nobody deserves to be by torn out of life, but when you have so much what you have already reached in life, he should have been more careful. I donāt hope I get a shitload of angry people over my ass now. But In the end he should have taken that protection.
My blessings are with his family, I will throw a coin outside for the ferryman today. He was a bit crooked, but what I said he did it for for a couse, that in the past wasnāt always right one.

- Coffee. Another Dutchie getting up and checking in. Luna ate the better part of a normal dayās food ration during the night so Iām happy with that. No puke or diarrhoea in sight. Very good. Sheās asleep in her bed now and I think it will be OK to go to work and let her rest for a bit and not go for any emergency vet appointment right now. Not cancelling tomorrowās regular one though. Maybe you think Iām overreacting but well sheās the closest family I have.
Work evaluation went fine. Told my manager about being sober for over two years now and a bit of what went before that. She took it well and appreciated I told her I think. And over all was satisfied with my performance. So things are looking a lot better as they did yesterday, except for the shooting 050NL and Buts are talking about. Drugs and drugs criminality are very big here. Scary stuff. Happy I got absolutely nothing to do with that. Glad Iām sober and clean. ODAAT. Have a good day all. Donāt go it alone. Ticking along. My friend is still waiting for tests machine broke at hospital and she was sent home so she has to wait, so difficult for her, but i am sober supporting her. She has acknowledged that helps. Thanks for good wishes.

@Mno so happy luna is eating and recovering, we do love our pets, and times like this wish they could talk.
Work contracts on way to me. Started telling my clients yesterday support was ended, only told two so far, as got emotional each one, so hard 
went to body combat, new class for me to punch out my frustrations it helped, until i tried to get out of bed this morning, my muscles have ceased up 
so i will be a slow mover today.

Day 865
I finally moved house!! Last night was my first night here and itās great. I love it. The house is cool and the neighbourhood is really nice. Iām opposite a primary school so there is plenty of noise and life happening around me during the day. Itās exactly what I need after being isolated in a 4th floor apartment for the past 18 months. Thereās a good mix of different people, young and old. My one neighbour is 93!!! She has lived in her house since 1960!! Amazing.
This is a significant milestone for me and itās amazing how much can change in a short space of time if you commit to something. This would never have happened if I was still drinking. Itās times like this that prove that it is 100% the right thing for me to be sober.
I spoke too soon about my back tho, itās awful atm. I really need to rest it but have to go back to my old apartment and clean/paint it over the next few days 
I have bought a new bed tho, very firm mattress so fingers crossed that will help

Good Morning from Florida. Just checking in. So how many times does it take to reset until you fully get that alchohol is not good for you? I think I am on number 4 resetš¤¦āāļø. Not proud of it but I want to move past this point in my life. Any suggestions?

Day 390 clean and sober today. Working construction has been really bad on my back but I keep doing these day labor jobs because Iām still waiting to hear from the entry counselor position. Iām starting to get a little frustrated now. I am trying to brainstorm other ideas for work if the counselor job falls through. I am thinking about going back to plumbing even though it would be against the doctors advice because what Iām doing now for work is just as hard if not harder for a 1/4 of the amount of money I could make in my trade. This is really lame. Have a great day today everyone, love you guys!!!
