Honestly… if u can, walk away. Sometimes I literally need to remove myself from the person or situation when all else fails lol I’ll go in the shower and relax with the warm water or I legit go to another room and stay there until I calm down
Congratulations

Hey Pica.
How you doin today?
Congrats on what must be 43 days now.
I’m sorry to read you feeling all alone and got a lot of things coming up and a move and your lease etc…. That would stress me out too. I just like to break it down into.
One Day At A Time.
Sometimes that easier said than done. But it helps me to remember that. And just do the right next thing as far as my sobriety is concerned. You’ve come a long way. And we can be here for you if you use us. I know it’s not the same as having someone in real life. But reach out when you can, there’s always someone around.
You’re not alone. We got your back.
Checking in
Day 9
Just coming home from Walmart. Did some light grocery shopping. Feeling irritable which is normal for me lately at this time of day got everything done today except for my yoga. Not a huge deal… im not going to overwhelm myself when I’m already overwhelmed. Trying to just be patient with myself and gentle with myself. And then I saw this… really liked it! Can mean anything really… bad relationships or back to our old selves.
Truely I hope you have a smile on your face on such a big achievement…
What a journey you’ve shared with us
Big hugs
First off CONGRATS!! 18 days is a victory. Second it’s totally normally to be short tempered and snappish at this stage of detox. It will get better.
My Dr. recommended a B complex B12 vitamin supplement and it helped me a LOT. Lots of water, rest, ear buds in playing happy/calming music and long walks in nature too. I don’t know where you live but it’s friggin’ subzero and snowmaggedon where I live so I’ve been walking at an indoor track of late. Not as mood calming as outside but it’s better than nothing.
