They scare me as well. I think they don’t come out of nowhere but we are not aware of the first symptoms (thoughts, feelings, negative Selftalk…) yet. With time in recovery making baby steps I either am aware that I am falling in a hole or I am there less longer. Both are good developments.

Thank you. This really really helped me today. Had to go to the gas station and was so tempted to go in and get some drinks so instead of I got on here before I walked in and saw this comment and it really helped me. Thank you. Another day sober.

Hahaha, that is a good one but I had an issue with thursdays for a different reason.
Day 556
Got my booster shot today. Bit achey in the arm, will have to wait and see if fever or fatigue appears. Husband was off today so we had lunch together, Tonkatsu, which was yummy, but very filling. He will go to his parents’ house this evening, so a chilled Friday night alone with the kids beckons.

- Coffee. Just the one early shift to go till a real weekend. I’m OK. Slept better. I’m sober and clean. Therapy group was not bad, even though beforehand I didn’t feel like it at all. Sometimes we just have to grit our teeth and get on with it. In the end it didn’t turn out that bad at all.
Have as good a day as you all can friends. Make it clean and sober. It’s the only way for all of us. Pic is from a little walk to my therapy group I did yesterday. It was nice to be out for a bit. Love.

Checking in happy and sober. I love my new sober life and I enjoy every day I wake op hang-over free
The past is the past and we will see what the future brings to me. But one thing is certain, today I will stay sober.
Today is my last day off before I start with my night shifts. No much going one today, resting from my 24km hiking trip yesterday. I was a tough hike because of the bad weather and the difficult terrain. Hiking is my therapy, it is my way of staying sober, it is my my for staying focused and it keeps me on the right "track’’.
I see so many amazing milestones coming by, I am so proud of this community, your are all awesome!

My son due home from Uni this weekend, we shall see, bad storms and winds forecast, will be disappointed but there are other weekends.
My sleep is strange I sleep lots of hours but still feel tired, not sure why
