Get well soon!

I never had a migraine and donā€™t want one. From the tellings of acquaintances it is a really painful and shitty condition.

Thanks Julia! The new morning routine is off to a poor start though. Woke up at 2am with alarm set for 5:30. Damn sleep schedule is all outta whack. Canā€™t tell if Iā€™d be better off staying up or going back to sleep !

Just restā€¦ to get well soon!
By the way, wanted to tell you lately, I have all the respect for your job in the medical field :pray:t2:

It isnā€™t as bad any more as it was in the past. Usually 1 day rest is enough for me. The 2. day I have way less pain and / or only a slight pressure in my head.
Since Corona the main problem for me is to get a notification of illness from my Dr.
They limited the time when I can call them, their phone is always occupied. And my boss demnads this notification from day 1 on. Iā€™m sometimes in such a pain and feel sick that Iā€™m not able to walk to the bus and drive there. And nobody understands that. Every time I have to discuss this problem with my boss.
Feels like nobody believes me bc itā€™s ā€œjust a headacheā€

@Juli1 thank you so much, those comments mean a lot to me :relaxed::heart:

Have as good a day as you all can friends. Love.

@Sabrina80 Rest well and feel better friend. Over here an employer canā€™t force me to call or go to my doctor when Iā€™m sick, all they can do is send an Arbeitsmediziner to have me checked. Which in my experience never happens the first week. Sorry for the extra stress this causes you. Hugs. Take care.

I know this sucks. Until now Iā€™ve always been employed where I needed an ā€˜AUā€™ from the first day on. I am grateful that I now work somewhere where they trust their employees more and an AU is only needed from the 3rd day on, I think.

They canā€™t really force me to. The worst that can happen is that the boss wants to talk to me and / or that I lose the 8 hours of working time on my clock.
I was way more stressed in the past about this. Itā€™s just really unnecessary to stress your employees that way.

Thank you  Iā€™m already feeling better than in the morning when I woke up.

My company had the 3 days rule when I started there. But over time more and more employees abused this and so they told everyone that you need an ā€œAUā€ since day 1

Checking in day 4. Depressed. Not much else to say.

Welcome back mood swings  itā€™s pretty tough but at the same time so good to feel this without the ā€œfogā€ of alcohol.

Hellooooo ive got an interview tomorrow for my dream job theres a hitch thoā€¦well a couple one i might not get it and 2 it might not be enough hours for us to live comfortably off even tho the hourly rate is well above the avarage in the uk. I have worked for the company before but not in this role so im confident for the interview since i know the place inside and out and i can do some delivery driving inbetween the shifts if the hours arnt enough but if i dont have to that will be a bonus. As for my sobriety well thats going great lots of self care and i enjoy life sober. Anyway ill check in again after my inteview abd let u know how it went when i find out peace out folks

  • 116 days free from alcohol
  • 97 days free from toxic relationships
  • 7 days imperfect regular eating
  • 14 days no online shopping

I am fine and feeling very positive and very calm. Everything is on track :white_flower::hibiscus::cherry_blossom:

Just quoted my 4th tracker todayā€¦ No online shopping since 2 weeks. Wonā€™t report about it constantly and itā€™s a intermediate challenge until end of the year until further notice. Focusing on this as I was shopping online much to much and was totally stressed out and ashamed by returning processes.
Medical products and hypoallergen cosmetic are excluded of this . I have 2 autumn / winter booties, enough yoga leggins :woman_in_lotus_position:t2::see_no_evil: and swim equipment  Also enough clothes for work or more elegant things, and reeeeeally enough sporty clothes, that I wear 24/7 if I donā€™t work. And I also have everything I need for my holiday in 4 weeks.
So what am I searching by shopping?
Itā€™s just boredom and a little kick by the click.
Of cause I also had bad conscience because of the ecological footprint too. :green_heart:

Looking forward to my swim workout tonight again :swimming_woman:t2:

Hugs and stay sober :hugs::white_heart::heartpulse::purple_heart::black_heart:

Iā€™m glad youā€™re feeling better and I do know the pain of migraine intimately. Iā€™m coming out of one of the worst I have had in a while, well, more like two back to back, also triggered by menstrual cycle and then a drastic shift in weather. We dropped 50 deg F in one day! I get other symptoms like nausea and visual stuff, etc. Uf  So glad to be finally feeling a bit better and able to rest.

Hope you continue to feel better!

Day 72! This cold or whatever I have (negative for COVID) is back and a little worse. Still functional but just so dreary. Work 12 hours today, looking forward to my day off tomorrow (though I do have one client) so I can rest up some more. It really sucks being sick because it highlights how much Iā€™ve come to rely on the gym. And all Iā€™m craving is crap food. At least itā€™s better than alcohol- happy to be sober another day, ODAAT.
