Checking in daily to maintain focus #59

With the leaves changing to their awesome autumn colours, I decided to go amber. To bring out the natural copper tones in my hair… AND to battle those first few greys :scream:

Good morning everyone.

Checking in on day 345 of sobriety.

New job day 2 today - my anxiety is through the roof and I’m suffering from headaches as a result. I’m hoping that the regular routine of going to bed and getting up at the same time daily, along with regular gym sessions, will help going forward.

Hope you all have a great Tuesday.

Woke up to some delicious coffee. Perfect on a chilly morning. We started a fire to eat breakfast around and enjoyed nature until the others had to get going bc they lived 70 miles away.

I stayed around the rest of the day, just chilling with my friend and her son, who is a perfect 12yo gentlemen. Around 4 my daughter called me crying from her dads phone. She started out by “Daddy took a nap on the couch…:sob: I don’t know what to do…” Bawling. Of course, I only imagined the worst, thinking ‘I’m 40 miles from her!’ Turns out he asked her to wake him up at 4 and when she tried coming out of her room, the doorknob fell off so she was stuck! He sleeps deep and didn’t hear her screaming. She does not like feeling trapped. I’m sure she sounded terrified bc the neighbors called the cops! It’s kinda funny actually. She’s fine.

Compared to yesterday it was a beautiful, brisk fall day. We walked around the entire campsite, which is virtually empty this time of year. There was some really cool stuff to explore. It was such a chill, relaxing time away from home.

I stayed til the absolute last moment before I had to get my daughter. I needed to pump up a low tired before I left but my car wouldn’t start. We jumped it, and then I was afraid of turning it off at all. I planned to get gas and stop home on my way thru town but instead I just straight shot it and drove 1 1/2 hours straight, my gas light on for half. I’m glad she made it home :red_car: I’ll deal with that tomorrow.

This was a great long weekend. Hope your guys’ was too  A late Goodnight from me

Checking in, Day 26. I am very tired and very anxious. I am definitely in a bit of a chronic fatigue dip, and I feel like my nerve endings are exposed. Really hope work is kind today, and I can just get through then home to rest. I had wanted to go to the gym but might have to prioritise.

I hope everyone else has a good day.
@Scorpn massive congratulations!
@Maestro hope Day 2 at the job goes well and the anxiety eases.

Working from home 7.30- 4.30

Another app i had been using to track my days (nhs app) crashed… so i will stay focussed on here. I’ve added my sobriety date to my calendar and will keep on track. Will do some reflective work this evening.

Checking in, 102 days free.

What a morning… It’s still few minutes before noon and I already feel it was productive day
I had some very good run, make daily dose of pushups (October Push-ups Challenge), had driving lesson (man I suck in parking). Now I have last hour alone and I have to pick Chip and Dale up from playgroup.
2 weeks on intermittent fasting (16:8), scale keep showing more or less same weight although I see my clothes fits better. Which is good.
So, dishes not gonna wash themselves (they could if I’d have dishwasher), groceries must be done too… But first, coffee :coffee:
Have a good day people :green_heart:
