I wanted to find a calf with band aid. No luck.
Parked next to this yesterday and made me smile.

I am so sorry love- i know itās hard when we have to reset the timer. You have not lost your sober days and you do have the tools to keep you on the right track. Great work on getting right back here and restarting your journey. We have missed you too and grateful to see you back.
Wishing you luck with finding a new sponsor. Hereās to a wonderful day 1

Day 1.
Fell off the rail and im so tired of it.
Night is approaching which is the hardest time, commenting here to keep myself accountable/encouragement appreciated
So proud of all of you guys
Thereās over 8 billion people in the world, if you put them all in Texas theyād each get their own 200 square ft.
Hey girl ā missed you and glad to see you getting right back on the sober track. The nights are super hard for sure. Do you have a way to distract yourself? Can you do something to keep yourself busy?
If nothing else - read through the threads here. I find just reading the posts gives me motivation and more determination to keep pushing forward.
Sending you strength Zoe - i know you are stronger than this addiction.
Well done on your 1 day. Be strong and tomorrow can be day 2. Tell yourself life is so much better sober.
@JazzyS Thank you! I needed all of thatā¦i am going to make myself check in everyday like i was at firstā¦this community means a lot to me and learn so much. I need the vibes here
Checking in Sober and free day 210 and 196 no smokes. The work week is winding down in about 1 1/2. Iām off the next two days but gonna be busy. Iām under stress of work with some 60 hour weeks and not enough sleep. In the middle of a move to another state which is stressful, and dealing with family bullshit, that we all deal with one way or another. But there is absolutely nothing that drinking canāt make worse. If your in a funk, breathe through it, work out, go to a meeting and sit there and listen to other people ramble on about their problems, sit on here and complain until somebody replies, or shut everything down and just go to bed. I can pretty much promise you, youāll thank yourself later. And if you donāt, you might want to question how bad you really want sobriety.
Love yaās
Thanks friend
day 770 of no self harm.
thanks @Twizzlers for thinking of me
not much to jodate but Iām okay I guess. i applied to a few jobs, got an interview for 2 but both rejected me and Iām too disabled for most jobs so itās just miserable Iāve been unemployed and mostly bedridden for over a year. so Iām just trying to take it day by day. just filling the days is hard. my doctorās refuse to do the tests I need to get the diagnosis I suspect so Iām just stuck. i have sleep apnea and my mask broke but insurance wonāt get me a new one because Iām not in compliance because I wasjt using the machine, but I wasnāt because my mask broke. been fighting about this with insurance for a year as well so Iām just exhausted because Iām not getting good sleep.
struggling but here
Wow 770 Days thatās is alot of day, huge congratulations
Is there maybe someone or a service that could help you with the insurance company and kind of help advocate for/with you ?
This might be something to look into. When you have been unwell for the past year a little help might just get the ball rolling. I hope so!
Itās so nice to see you check in with so many days Iām so proud of you
im planning to try to call my insurance one more time tomorrow but I will look into some advocacy services thank you for that idea
I hope things fall Into place for you Megan, Iām trying to think what we call someone over here that helps with this sort of stuff we have like citizens advice who can help advice and call on your behalf but not sure what it would be over there, maybe someone who reads this may know and can let you know.
Great to see u here im sorry about all of ur current struggles. U shouldnāt have to fight so hard for what u need. Thats incredibly frustrating.
@jasty2 Sending you some calming energy my friend. You got a lot going on and I do hope you find time for yourself. Some sound and solid advice. Thank you- always great to be reminded.
@sadmemequeen Great to see you Megan. You have been missed. 770 days is amazing number of days. I am sorry to hear that you doctor is not getting your tests done. Are you able to go elsewhere? I do hope you are able to get some answers and a proper diagnosis done so that you can start the treatment / healing process. As Twizzler mentioned ā hoping that you are able to find a good advocate to help you make your case with the insurance company and hopefully someone that can help with the doctor as well. Much love Megan
Checking in on Wednesday evening
476 days free of alcohol and weed
891 days free of cigarettes
Been a good day. I did manage to walk a bit further today. Still have a long recovery ahead it seems but I am making progress. The sunny warm days really do make all the difference. Feel like I got a lot done for my mental health today.
I was finally able to use my TENS machine for my back issues without making my abdomen issues worse and my lord that helped. Doesnāt last for long but combined with the red light therapy belt i was able to sleep throughout the night without any back issues - another plus. Gonna try to do same thing tonight.
Wishing everyone a wonderful addiction free day / evening - sending you all so much love
Iām debating switching doctors Iām going to decide next time I see my current one
Checking in day 24. Rough couple of days, huge headaches and awful sleep.
