194 days AF

My mind doesn’t stop judging my body hardly. It’s like a new addiction getting worse.
Had a solid swim, it’s strong, this body.
Anyway, on my way back the voice is telling me I am a fat idiot.

Sober, not questioning anything of sobriety.

Sorry for being so honest, needed to vent.

Love you guys

Oh this sounds lovely! I am glad you are able to take the time off and that you and the pup will have this adventure. So sorry for the rough week and all the exhausting triggers. Have a wonderful sober camping trip friend – you’ll hit the triple’s soon :hugs:
@just_laura 23? Oof yeah – that age is the worst for some with the entitled know it all attitude. Sorry that you are dealing with that. DUDE – wtf – really why would you need to be there so damn early? She is wasting your time and their money LOL –Hope you got a good nights rest and today goes smoothly for you.
@wahtisnormal Oh that meme made me laugh so hard. Glad you had a good day at work and got some response from your friend. We don’t know where this will lead and what is in store in the future so take it ODAAT. :hugs:
@thewolf Great to see you checking in and with 1 + month of sobriety! Way to go friend. Have a wonderful time at the beach.
@lisa-b great to see you friend. Love it! An extra day than what you thought – yeah that is an awesome feeling. Keep kicking ass Lisa – 226 days strong :muscle:
@thirdmonkey 3 months!!! WOOT WOOT – yeah that feels good – it is amazing work. 2333 is an awesome number for AF too – keep it going. Ah sorry the camping trip got cut short. Hope you have a wonderful fun Sunday at home
@chevy55 Not a stranger friend – you are a seasoned TS member – You have just had a very busy summer and I’m so happy for that as i know going into the summer you were worried about the triggers. Looks like you handled them just fine and are stronger than ever!
@juli1 Jules – NEVER apologize for being honest. I am sorry that your mind is being so cruel and spinning such lies. You are a beautiful woman and this judgmental mind that has too much time on its hands can FRO. Hold strong girl! 194 days of sobriety. A new job starting soon. A solid swim and now getting back to your yoga – keep doing the things that you love cause you deserve to be happy. I do hope the vent helped and that your mind will take a rest from trying to torture you (I think our addict mind gets nervous the more time that passes and tries whatever tactics it can to get our defenses to drop – you are loved and supported – keep pushing forward) :people_hugging:
@scorpn Oh i do hope you get some sleep today. Hope your back is feeling better too  :hugs:
@rookie WOOHOO Double digits Kristen! Way to go friend :hugs

Checking in on Sunday morning
Not feeling great but happy to be up and moving some. A hot cup of coffee and catching up on TS is a great way to start my Sunday
Not sure what I have planned for today – the day started off much later for me so my schedule is a bit off - gonna just play it by ear and see how the day unfolds :hugs:

Wishing you all a wonderful addiction free day - sending you all so much love

Checking in. Hard day today. Lots of symptoms, intrusive thoughts. I try to eat, because I think maybe I feel bad is because of lack of enough nutritions? Its hard, I want to eat, in the same time not, want to be better. The coming week is going to be hard.

Checking in day 146.

Focusing on acknowledging others pains and frustrations instead of offering unsolicited solutions.

Need to get back to the gym this week after a lazy time since Ellie’s birth. I’m thinking of going after dinner when the kids are already in bed. Maybe a good way to help finish my night and get to sleep.

Hope everyones weekends been great!

Day 163

Slowly the days are getting shorter. I like that. Soon the mornings will be cooler. Pumpkin fucking spice.

Making my trip list. Good thing I remembered my brother doesn’t drink coffee- I need to bring my whole kit! And everything. I bring everything.

I still can’t believe he moved away. And that I’ll move to the southern Rockies too in a couple of years . It’s all very good. I wish I could gather an entourage and we could take up a block or something. But no, I have to start from zero friends. I’ve started over here since I got sober, so I’ll have practice.

Meanwhile, in Texas. It’s high summer but not forever. I got the back wasp porch cleaned in the heat yesterday and tomorrow the landscapers come to do the new garden beds. Plus river rock. Kinda like what Mr Nick is doing. But the desert version! I’m so happy. It’s a first for me. Wouldn’t even happen if drinking. Nothing ever happened! Except for drinking drama and bullshit. I’m spending my drinking money on rocks!. Hey, no hangover or jail…give me rocks! :white_check_mark:

Love y’all - enjoy your sober days

Sorry that you are having a hard day my friend. I’m hoping you are able to drink something with nutritional value to help you gain energy.

Hopefully you can plan for the week ahead to help yourself as it is going to be a hard week. Remember to take time for yourself :people_hugging::heart:

@acromouse safe travels home :crossed_fingers:t2:🩵
@Juli1 those body image thoughts can FRO! :people_hugging:
@Wakikki maybe look into some meal replacement shakes, it would be better than not eating at all :people_hugging:

1461 days no alcohol.
926 days no cocaine.
441 days no vape.
14 days no crisps, no binge-eating.

Wow, thank you for all the congrats :grinning: this is the only place anyone acknowledges my sobriety, so I appreciate you all for making it actually feel like a milestone, and not just any other day 🩵

I had cravings all day yesterday for crisps, but I was determined to see my timer at 2 weeks, I fell asleep early which is proving to be a solid tactic. I slept too well last night, from around 7-11pm, then 2-8am (because I forgot to take my morning meds at 2am), so then I slept again after my meds from 8:30-11am! I had a very bad dream but I’m okay now I’ve been awake a few hours.

Today I’m doing laundry.

Tomorrow I am seeing the specialist about my back at 9am, then I have therapy at 11:15, so I’ll have quite a long wait in-between. I need to be awake early to shower beforehand.

Day 140. I have a friend who always tells me if your comfortable your not growing. Yesterday I did some growing lol. As I have shared before my girlfriend is doing a little bit of prison time for some old crimes. Well yesterday her 8 year old twins decided they wanted to spend the day with me. Its been a long time since i had to handle kids of that age on my own. It was a good day we had lunch and went to ice cream and even watched some cartoons. There was a few times my patience got tested but overall I think it was a good thing for both me and the kids. I hope to continue to build a relationship with them.
