Checking in daily to maintain focus #71

You aren’t alone Megan. Do you journal, or can you start a blog or some kind of daily practice? Getting some of these feelings out can be super releasing to the soul. Friends are not always the answer. They really can’t always fix you or listen properly, even if a hug or words of love are always nice to receive and necessary. You are never alone though

I enjoyed a peaceful day and am now at work on a pretty calm yet productive nightshift. Life is good

☆ Day 2241 :walking_woman:
Easy day yesterday and the stand up comedian in the evening was fun too.
Bought tickets for this movie tonight:

It’s about a girl who lives in London and is addicted to alcohol and drugs. She want to be sober and decided to move back to her homeland Orkney, Scotland.
Well this is a must see for me because it added up some of my favorite subjects: recovery, Scotland and nature (and her gorgeous blue hair! :blue_heart:)
So I covinced a friend to come with me to the cinema tonight
Today? Having the day off so some housechores it will be. Topped off with that movie tonight.
Have a good day ore night all :raising_hand_woman:

Sorry to hear, that’s so sad Micha :disappointed_relieved:
Still have the mourning card on my table from a 19 year old who left this world that way. I hope he found his peace as I hope you’re friend has, but sad it is.

Coffee. Gym. Learn, play, read and sleep.

It’s so noisy at home with all the drilling and work going on. The workers have safety earplugs, I think I need some…:rofl: The cats are finding it fascinating and the workmen keep waving and smiling to them. So they are following them window to window in some bromance. :window:

Did a good breathwork last night. Relaxing, but I find it sometimes hard to sleep after those group therapy sessions. It was nice all the same but I’m really tired today, need to get energised! :dove:

Checking in on Thursday morning…
Man, this week is flying by. I am up and think I got a few hours of sleep but head is pounding and feel like crap. Going to take it easy today. I did make some pizza dough yesterday and gonna attempt my first pizza from scratch. Hope it turns out :crossed_fingers:t4:
Gonna start the day with coffee and my PT exercises.

Wishing everyone a wonderful addiction free day… sending you all so much love :heart:

Did you find it difficult to cut out caffeine?

I’ve cut out caffeine since August - I had an eye twitch that wouldn’t go away , had it for 6 months and reducing caffeine didn’t work but cutting it out entirely has meant no eye twitching since.

Thought the cravings were so bad at the beginning, didn’t realise how much caffeine craving I had until I quit .

There were a couple days of headaches. Those also could have been because of sinus allergies. I think the biggest issue was being so tired. To the point of having to stamd up or I couldnt focus. Thats gone now.

Im not sure if its because of the quitting but I actually remember dreaming now. I dont get a full 8 hours but what I do get of sleep seems to be better quality.

Plan is to do 1 cup in the morning and see how it goes. Caffeine does have some pos5thi gs to offer so ill see how it goes.
