I had someone give me a bottle of Cristal once for a business Christmas present before I got sober. I later learned he was sober for north of 20 years and it was likely a regift. He didnāt know about my alcoholism and saw me in a meeting one day after I got sober. You could see the awkwardness in his face of oh shit what did I do. Lol. For me it was work and sober life crossing and my first instinct was to run. Thankfully my feet were smarter than my head and I walked over and said hello.

Thatās the problem with the world these days. People are always too eager to take someone elseās inventory without a thought to their own.
What was it Jesus said " let him who has not sinned cast the first stone!"
People are so quick to jump on band wagons in a world that is forever changing. Some find it hard to keep up with these changes, should they be attacked for this. I donāt think so, as Sassy says, one should hope that with a little understanding attitudes will change.
I myself have had to change the way I think about a lot of things that I grew up believing, just because of the attitudes of 40 years ago.
I still find myself being told off by my children because of something I say.
They know Iām not racist or sexist or any other IST!
Itās just what is exceptable has changed, for the better.

This year for Christmas someone gave me a bottle of wine called āThe Allisonā. My first thought was āheck yes they spelled my name correctlyāā¦ second thought wasā¦ I am going to bring this to a family dinner so someone else can drink it haha.
As per the humour, we are all different and if I donāt find something funny I just keep scrolling. I find some stuff that might offend others funny, and I probably have no idea what you find funny. I just think itās important to be respectful when making comments on someoneās thread.
