Does crochet use the same yarn as knitting?

Yes, but I believe you can buy yarn twisted the opposite way especially for crochet.

Changing color and stitch. Still thermal, but double crochet, hoping this will be faster and better texture.

Good stuff @Tink!

Theres a few of the many things I’ve been making.
Currently working on a king size blanket, a poncho for a friend, market bags and baby booties.
I have so many projects going at once.

I like to work on several things at once too. I just started learning to knit yesterday.

Nice! I am loving knitting so much. It does wonders for my nervous energy and anxiety.

I believe you. Same here. I think somehow knowing crochet helps me learn knitting faster. It looks a lot like Tunisian crochet, too.

This is super nice! I might steal this design!

I found this luxury yarn at a huge discount. I was thinking of mother’s day. It’s 50/50 cotton/polyester. What should I make for her?

A pillowcase for a small pillow then the matching inside pillow lining online! Maybe a funny shape like a heart. Happy crocheting!

I am working on the Earl Grey wrap and also a blanket with bernat velvet. Crocheting keeps my hands busy and my mind calm

That looks great! And almost the same colors I’ve used! I have used 3 strand together to make a door mat, or a shower mat.
