Daily fitness check in šŸ’Ŗ (Part 2)

I’m this way too.

And being an introvert…I’ll eventually just choose to go home. Don’t threaten me with a good time!

Thanks for that! It’s been a trip and the results I’m seeing this time around have been totally worth it.

Legs and glutes are completely smoked for the week. :face_with_crossed_out_eyes::fire: Thank goodness they finally get a break and it’s chest, arms/shoulders, and a little bit of core tomorrow.

Squat snatch technical work before a squat snatch strength workout. Squat snatches get harder with age. I definitely feel 40. :sob:

Then jump rope with power snatches for the WOD.

I love this thread and everyones encouragement.

Today was a cardio day on the treadmill. Ran 4mi straight then tried to recover in zone 2. After 4mi running it was harder to find and maintain zone 2 but i got 10min there.

Feeling accomplished and ready to take on the day

15 minutes Yoga
10 minutes Meditation
2 short walks during office
20 minutes decline walk
60 minutes Yoga class
Some rounds of Sauna

Eating balanced, high protein, basic,
no sugar, no cravings.

I got my blood results from November today. No need to take thyroid medication. All balanced. Vitamin D is still too low, rised 10 points during 10 months. I will increase to 10.000 a day and take it at noon with a meal. I asked chat gpt to further investigate my blood results. It came out that I need to take a EPA focused omega 3 (as the leveling was not ideal) and, as I already knew increase vitamin D intake. All that might lead to the symptoms I have. I am real sorry to say that these 20 mins AI conversation was more helpful then any conversation or results from a doctor. German health system is very focused on healing deseases when they are already there. Not to already stimulize smaller disbalances with supplements. The new doctor where I was, was nearly pissed that I asked for the micro nutrient measurement. Yes sorry that my insurance pays every 24 months. Sorry for taking care of my health. She even said I need to watch out for someone explaining it to me. She won’t.

Also AI doc said I should focus more on balancing and recovery as I might be a bit perimenopause (fucker :joy:) which might also cause the symptoms. So I will do my yoga way again today and enjoy my peppermint tea with honey before the sauna rounds afterwards. I feel blessed having the opportunity to combine this at this place!

Much love :purple_heart:

Officially registered for the DEKA FIT comp. in July. :face_exhaling:

I’m also trying to see if I can still register for another comp. this Saturday which will be my first for this year. But I think the organizer will say no because it’s too late already. Never hurts to ask though! :joy:

Was up early at work this morning on the back end of a 24hr, got in the gym at 4am and did some weights.

Back again for nightshift and decided not to come in early as I normally do for a workout but instead just chilled for a bit.

Plantar fasciitis is really starting to act up again, despite the fact im doing no running. Very frustrating

8 mins. skill session — rowing technique

Then the following WOD with an 18 mins. timecap.

Finished in 15:25 — 500m row; DL @105# (~75% of body weight); 16 inch box jumps

I can do the 20 inch box jumps but I’m always afraid of rolling off that box during a leg intensive WOD.

I did a 10 min elliptical warm up before my chest and bicep workout. Bench felt really strong. First set was 12 reps at 85% of bodyweight without a spotter. I don’t think I’ve ever been here before.

Then did a 60 min yoga class afterwards followed by a sauna.

12k steps

Plans to go out skiing with a friend tomorrow.

Everyone here is hitting some impressive numbers/times/consistency. Inspiring. Its awesome to see.

Hit a couple of burpee based workouts before work. All up just under 40mins of workout. Was a good one.

As the 3 intense classes I did this week still leave my muscles sore, I will do a rest day today. As my reflections was to do so. I will do so. After finishing work I will head to the hot springs where they have 8 different saunas. Take my peppermint tea with honey with me.

Tomorrow I plan to go a full body strengths training and some decline walk. Won’t miss a shirt strech afterwards as I did last year.

Keep going :flexed_biceps:t2::revolving_hearts:

Edit… Cutting out sugar is making such a huge difference to my brain and my mind!
