Daily fitness check in 💪 (Part 2)

Feb 12th
My son is home from school today, so no gym. BUT… I got up off my butt, put music on the TV, set up incline on the walking pad, and power walked for 45min. I worked up a good sweat actually! Finished off with a nice stretch. Feeling good!

Did a 10 min warm up on the rowing machine before my back and tricep workout. Then went right to yoga class afterwards for an hour.

I work with the instructor and she told me after class that I was looking suuuper fit. A little boost of external validation was kinda nice.

I’ve pushed myself these last 2 days at the warehouse 2 twelve hour shifts tomorrow I’m back at my 10am to 6pm load crew job let’s get it! Peace sober fam. :flexed_biceps:t4::folded_hands:t4::victory_hand:t4:

Had a big few days with some double sessions, a.m and p.m

Got to the gym for some sparring, first in about 3-4months. Was gassed early even with all the training im doing. But was still able to last and push to the end

It’s been a brutal winter this year but I’m keeping the numbers consistent. I have also been hitting mad steps when I’m in the office.

I swear if I’m not, as the kids say, “snatched” by summertime…

Awesome work! :ok_hand: I am too old to grasp the lingo but I wish you well in your pursuit of the snatching. Is snatched gender neutral? Should I want that for myself?

My kettlebells are all dusty… Every day i tell myself i will workout and then i dont :sweat_smile:
Still running and doing yoga but definitely miss some strength training.

Snatched is a gender neutral term! It means looking good or having a nice figure. So technically, the instructor was trying to tell you yesterday that you looked snatched. :joy:

I should really start working out with kettles regularly again. Now that I’m gonna drive to work rather than bike, I have to adjust my other activities or i will gain some kgs for sure, and I don’t want that. Still have 2-3kg in plus,.i know its not much but it seems impossible to loose.

Guys, I’ve not been to the gym in SEVEN DAYS. I got a cold, then my IBS flared up, then my mental health spiralled massively thru no activity. Just being honest, my heart is desperate to workout, but my mind is saying nope. Gotta change this, I need to get my mojo back. :cry:

The last little bit is the toughest to lose! Start small, then add to it, be consistent and you’ll get there!

Friday:
Morning yoga (10min) and 2min plank;
20min swimming and 2 sauna sessions (before and after swim)

I did a longer nap before and before swim some coffee and pasioflora at the same time. This mixture is always a big benefit to a relaxed hyperfocus in the pool :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Was around 2500 meter, lot of technique drills. Looots of streching afterwards (you know… The age, new focus). Feeling good.

After work I jogged 1.5 miles to warm up before my shoulder workout. Also had a couple 20-30 minute walks this morning and at lunch. We’re having some warm weather for February and it felt nice to be out in the sunshine.

Finished with a 20 minute sauna.
