Still feeling sick BUT my new workout top showed up today. AND my walking pad is out for delivery. Cant wait to wear this to the gym lol
1.5 mile warm up run followed with a back and tricep workout. My muscles felt a little tired and wasn’t able to hit the same pull ups and dips but I know I can’t make huge gains every week. Hit the sauna afterwards to relax.
Also hit 156 lbs when I weighed this morning. I’m only 5’7” so I feel like I’m getting close to where I want to be for my body weight but want to keep adding muscle. I feel like I am on a sustainable path and maybe I don’t need to make a big meal plan overhaul if I can just be better about discipline with food tracking.
Love the shirt. Im so excited for your walking pad to arrive ![]()
I love them and their kettlebells workout!
Staying strong on 45 minutes on my strider. I’ve even pushed for 50 minutes a couple of days. I also take my dog to the park every morning, that can be anywhere from 10 minutes to 30 minutes of walking. I’m struggling to get to it on some days but I’m doing it at least 5 days a week

- Upper body
- 10min treadmill walk
- Stretch
Current weight: 231lb (thankfully I didnt gain weight while not being at the gym)
Way to go, Juli! I think it’s important to show ourselves that we can keep doing hard things even when life gets hard. Plus, it helps me so much to just tune out the world and put my anxious feelings into something where I’m focused and exerting myself.
I did a pretty mild workout today. Just a mile run and my shoulder exercises. I’ll be taking the weekend off because I made it through my weekly circuit already. Also taking my son to his basketball game in the early afternoon tomorrow. I’m also chaperoning his class for downhill ski day on Wednesday.
I feel like I’m finding a new gear now that I’ve been more disciplined with my diet.
My mom saw me on Wednesday and said I need to be careful about getting too skinny. She is a grandma afterall I suppose but I’ve literally never felt healthier in my life. I was able to shrug it off pretty easily.
Man I almost gave in to the cravings and relapsed. Thankfully I didn’t.
85 pull ups by the way lol
Ouhhf, this sounds like a hard one…
Are you back on track?

10 km hike
Most of the time lots of snow 20 to 25 cm, untouched. Was a rough one.
Up up the hills and back down to the lake!

Boring Sunday as always. 50 something pull ups. ![]()
Did the usual Sunday Hyrox class at my gym then drove out to the city for a kettlebell class right after. It’s something two Chicago coaches put together once a month in the city. I was talking to one of the women in the class and apparently they hold classes on one of the lakefront beaches in the summertime.
I definitely want to head out to one of those!
Anyways, I bought a ticket to the kettlebell class as an early birthday present to myself.
They snuck in some airbike and zercher squats. I’ve heard of zercher squats but this was my first time trying them. I’m obsessed!
The max I got was 5 reps at 80lbs.
I was able to get 11k xc skiing in in under 1hr and 15 minutes. Pretty good clip for an old man. Really like my new skis! Gonna treat myself to dinner out on the town.
