Only took me two years but I am getting there.
Workouts have been going well. Doing some extra coaching to prep more for the competition. This week we have been doing some testing workouts to see what I need to work on. (Not spending money on wine clubs = more money for the gym…girl math) ![]()
Today:
2min test - Pull-ups, Pushups, sit-ups
20min EMOM (row/ski/bike/rest) for cals
Tuesday:
Three rounds of:
1: Wall-balls
2: Sumo deadlift high-pull, 55lbs
3: Box Jump, 20"
4: Push-press, 55lbs
5: Row (Calories)
6: Rest

Lower body today. I havent done legs in a minute. Ive definitely lost some strength

Back to a bodybalance class.
I need to keep this routine up and not oooonly focus on swimming in summer.

Building a home strength shorty is still on schedule. Recovering from pending 5% of the flue.
I’ve been overwhelmed by some things lately and not sleeping well . Haven’t done anything but my daily push up challenge and walking because of it these past 3 days.
Great early push session done,the usual 3 chest,3 shoulder and 2 tricep exercises,out for the weighted incline walk later on tonight,im off for 3 days now so I need to keep active,maybe 2 sessions per day or a bit more cardio over the weekend, I dont know,ill see how things go energy and time wise.

June 12th
I have 10 days left of workouts until my son’s summer break. Meaning i wont be able to get to the gym that often during July and August. Going to have to start planning at-home workouts soon so Im prepared. But for today:
Cardio day!
30min incline treadmill walk
15min ellitpical
15min recumbent bike
Hit my 4 workouts for the week with my back and tricep circuit today. Was tired but still managed to hit a PR with my dips. I might be at the stage where I need to start adding some weight around my waist to increase the challenge.
3 baseball practices and a jam packed work week has me zonked.
Still struggling with sleep right now but got up
And did some Yoga and a 15 minute jog on the treadmill plus my push up challenge for the day. I also brought the scale up after it’s 3 week banishment to our basement and am down 2 lbs which was pretty exciting. I took it right back down to the basement though to discourage me from starting daily obsessive weigh ins again.
Nice and active day today,i was up early to drop my car off to my mechanic then biked it back to mine, its about a 35 min ride,then went back on my bike to pick it up a few hrs later,in between this i got my pull session done,5 back exercises,2 biceps and 1 forearm,good workout,im going to chill for a while now then get out for a walk later on ![]()

Although I’ve managed to start working on my legs alot more regularly now,I dont think I’m ever going to enjoy doing it! It makes me feel a bit sick actually!!

June 15th
Upper body workout today. Was able to increase weight on the smith machine barbell chest press to 60lb (30lb plates on each side). That felt good! I feel strong today!
Full body workout + 15 minute jog
And of course my push up challenge
