Thanks - I do try. Today pool is closed for maintenance and we donāt know when it will open again. Trying to find another place to swim
3rd day in a row and 4th workout in 5 days.
Im back in it. 4 months its been, since ive done much.
Massive leg day today. Which are my favorites.
Front squats are really my favorite work out.
Did do some power work, but mainly reps and cardio. But, i hit a 245 lb front squat for 2.
I feel okay about it.
God is good, gym is wondeful.

Thats funny, i just wrote that the front squat was my favorite movement.

11100 steps today. Have a 7 day streak of 6000 or more. Iām tired but a good tired.

Been a rough week with symptoms and pool being closed most days.
Will kick my motivation into gear starting tomorrow
I completed my 28 day challenge. Starting a new one tomorrow.

Iāve not been great about posting here. Iāve been coaching little league threee days a week. Also I have managed to slowly develop a weightlifting routine that Iāve broken down into 4 muscle groups on the Hevy app.
Been trying out what works and what doesnāt. Also, Iāve learned from past mistakes and Iām not doing too much too fast. Figuring out what I like and focusing more on form and technique instead of allowing my ego to determine what my body can do.
I did pick up a decent mountain bike and I tried riding single track trails with my son for the first time. It was a blast! And I only did one faceplant. No harm done.
My clothes are fitting better and thanks to my work with my doctor, therapist, and my al-anon group Iām starting to see my worth and Iām able to speak to myself with more kindness than I ever have before.
Not perfect but feeling great progress!
Great post. Coaching Little League has to be rewarding I would think. How are the parents?
Itās a small town. My county only has about 5,000 people during the summer. So everybody knows everybody and itās more about ensuring the kids have fun and develop skills. Thereās only three teams so we gotta mix it up. Iāve known a lot of the kids since they were little and Iām grateful that I am able to show up for them.
How very cool. Community is important. So glad it is a positive experience for you.

Started new dance challenge today and went for 20 minutes. I am a clock watcher and got tired. Need to focus on the moves and not the clock tomorrow. My dance streak is 30 days today.
