No I was never brave enough to have kids. Also, I never managed to meet anyone who I thought would be a good father and the thought of doing it on my own terrified me! Just utterly wussed out! Too late now but that’s ok with me. I have a step son

- another hangover free morning
- getting up early and going for a walk in sunshine
- cat cuddles
- feeding the birds in my garden.
- the friendly Robin that’s always first to the bowl.
- great coffee
- being 8 days sober

Today, I’m grateful for my therapist, for my partner, and for the lockdown in my state which was much needed to control the COVID. Grateful to have what I need. I attended my first ever SMART meeting today, grateful for that too.

Grateful to be alive and sober. Grateful for pets. Grateful to be working, grateful for AA tonight. Greatful that even though I haven’t been eating healthy food consistently, I have still been going to the gym.
