I saw the doctor. Cleared out some blockage, so I actually have normal hearing in one ear now, and I hope the other one will come along now. It is such a relief to be able to sense my surroundings properly, and to not have to hear heart beating and breathing noises all the time. I’d gotten used to it, but I didn’t realize how much anxiety and tension I’d been carrying in my body all this time. You know action and horror movies, heart pounding and heavy breathing sounds to make you tense? Yeah apparently I was dealing with that 24/7.

He wanted to see if that solved the dizziness thing, but so far it doesn’t look like it has. The fact that he sent me home to give that a chance to work, though, at least means there’s probably nothing really urgent to worry about. Going to ask my family doctor about it tomorrow.

Feeling very ‘meh’ at work lately. This job and this place used to be awesome but lately has become bureaucratic and stressful. But I’m sure this little bout of feeling crappy will pass… but not soon enough. Maybe the meme thread will cheer me up!
