On a happier note today, on a whim, I decided yesterday to see Eric Clapton/and Jimmy Vaughan in concert. By myself and sober. Got a deal on the ticket too. I figure because it was just oneā¦

Iāve never been to Great Britain but have always wanted to go. Iāve taken a trip to Ireland and Germany spurred by my nieces christening in Germany and couldnt pass on the opportunity to visit Ireland. Iāve wanted to head back but next time see England and Scotland. Iām afraid now the seed is planted and when it matures a bit Iāll swing out there. It will be a blast Iām sure.

Wicked cool Chris. And I think Clapton is sober 25+ years. Whenever I know about a sober famous person, I feel like Iām in the same club as them, which is a funny thing.

I know what you mean Ariel. I usually dont look up to any entertainers, its their job and their doing it but those who have found sobriety are on a different level to meā¦

Being a fan of guitars and guitar music, ive been a fan of Clapton for as long as I can remember. Now youāve made me happy to think I have something in common with him Ariel. I hadnāt thought of it that way. I certainly canāt play like him!

Yep! I consulted a nurse specialized in quitting cigarettes. She adviced me to first start to use adhesive nicotine plaster, then chewing gum. On thursday we Will meet and that would be the first day without cigarettes. I think ill buy only one pack anymore and then vape until thu. Im gonna do this
