Ronin is my imaginary cat. You can read how it all started by clicking here. He’s been gone the past few days, and I’m pretty bummed.
What was the movie Lya?
Ad Astra
Yes saw a trailer for it the other day. Looks ok. Probably watch it on DVD or Netflix. It’s a bit expensive over her to go to the movies.
With the 4 of us, even with student discount, it can be £30. The it’s probably double that with drinks, popcorn etc.
Don’t get much change from £100 once car park is put on top.
Bout $125.
Yea we don’t go either. We had gift cards. Honestly it wasn’t worth a box office visit. Save your $ for DVD rent or Netflix. I only for popcorn for my daughter & small fry for me. The ending was good thou.
It’s got Brad Pitt in. I like him.
I don’t care about his personal life. He’s a good actor.
He is getting so old!!!
Yep, we all do even those blessed like him!
Hahaha. I don’t age
Haha, nope. I still feel like I did 30 years ago. Just the body doesn’t.
People think I an a teen or in my 20s. I still get carded places - even if I don’t drink or gamble
No hope for me on that one. I wasn’t even checked when I was 16.
Worse is when both my girls we with me and I was apparently the ‘oldest’
Brad f…n Pitt. This is serious. You need an intervention. But I have a funny story related to him (not HIM), maybe one day if you need to fall asleep.
I was just thinking it’s a bit late for you my lady.
You need your strength for tomorrow.
LOL fall asleep I gotta read it soon! I am curious
Can’t get no sleep. I know id need the energy for tomorrow. What are you doing up?
Nice one:clap:
I’ve never been one to have conscious awareness of the quality of anyone’s acting, so I just take people’s word on it for the most part. Brad Pitt is easy for people to make fun of, but I can’t imagine him having this much success without being a good actor. I know I liked Fight Club a lot, that’s the only Pitt role that’s been memorable to me because I just don’t remember which actor did what in general.
One exception to my usual lack of opinion on actors… I would not like Limitless so much if it wasn’t acted by Jake McDorman. He is just so natural with emotional expression, I’m so easily immersed. I mean, there’s lots of actors who are good enough at it that they never disrupt my immersion, but my experience with McDorman is just another level of seamless. Maybe it’s that the actor is just a natural fit for the character, I haven’t seen him in anything else, so that might be different.
