Like most dealers its a money thing. They can make like 2k a day… No one can make that working and they come to u. They got everything up there… But thats just about everywhere now…even suburbs and country. the War on drugs i think gets worse as it goes on.

Perhaps that is not the most helpful of posts right now?

Maybe not :smiling_imp:.

Is it really? I used to love it too. I think my daughter would like it. I’ll have to make it a mommy and daughter date.

I haven’t watched anything yet and we’ve had Disney+ for 16 months. This will give me a reason to sit down with her and watch something. Thanks for the heads up.

Loki’s not bad so far.

I love that show. I used to watch it with my Nana as a kid, 6 or 7 yrs old. Not very age-appropriate, lol. Thankfully most of it went over my naïve little head.

In regards to streaming services…I’m very much considering Discovery+, if anyone has feedback there.

Animal Planet is my #1 channel.

It’s got a lot of good shows. Walking dead, modern family, Grey’s anatomy, bones, criminal minds etc. Also lots of good movies.

I have YouTube Premium Curiosity Stream. Disney+ is pretty dope. I binge watched all the old movies I watched when I was a kid with (Aladdin was my favorite!). Plus all the Marvels and Star Wars. Never got into Marvel but I’m a huge Star Wars nerd :joy:

I’m digging it so far

I looked through Disney+, but not sure I’d use it enough with the existing catalogue. I’d likely be watching all my old favorites as well, but that’s about it. Aladdin was/is great. I’m the same way with Marvel, just not my thing (and sometimes I do get frustrated that it seems like every big movie that comes out now is Marvel – and it’s been that way for like, a decade). But, give the people what they want, I suppose. I just miss when movies weren’t so heavy on the CGI.

Star Wars is cool, but I’m only good with the original trilogy. Saw the prequels, but wouldn’t watch them again. Not much interest in all the newer spin-offs, although I’m sure they’re not so bad. Just not my thing for the most part.
Mentioning Disney+ did remind me though, I was also considering Paramount+ (goodness, are they ALL ‘something’ plus? :joy:) because they’re putting up all the old Nickelodeon shows of my youth that I get a nostalgic hankering for from time to time.

I do like the emergence of all these network-specific stream services though. Saw it coming, and I’m all for it. Once the cable companies lose live sports, they’re done for, the evil bastards.

That’s basically why I cancelled my Disney+ Sub. After the Mandalorian was done, it served its purpose. Nickelodeon eh? I definitely remember that. I watched Doug, Rugrats, Ah Real Monsters, Rocko’s Modern Life, Ren and Stimpy… The 90s man, gotta love it ^.^

Yep, those were my shows! I actually have the full series of Rocko’s Modern Life on DVD, one of the few DVDs in my collection that didn’t get donated to the Salvation Army yesterday. Best $20 spent at Wal-Mart ever. Not just by me, but by anyone, ever.

I was also a huge fan (and still am) of The Adventures of Pete & Pete. Not available anywhere, aside from seasons 1+2 DVD sets (season 3 release got cancelled) from like 15 years ago, which are now quite rare. It’s one of those shows that has too much music that it’s not worth it to the network to buy the rights from the bands/record labels in order to distribute it physically or digitally (and many of the bands were obscure local bands at the time, who they can’t even find now). Really unique, surreal, and intriguing for something that was intended as a kids’ show.

They’re coming out with a reboot.

and it’s…wait for it…CGI

It’s on paramount+, came out back in may. I like that most of the original voices are the same but it’s very different being cgi. Brings you back to the 90’s either way :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
