Thanks brother. It’s been an experience, glad I can share my labors and loves with y’all

I am in the process of gluing and securing 2.7mm underlayment panels to the roof :rofl: it’s a lot more difficult than I thought it’d be, but I’m also winging it and trying to do it by myself so that doesn’t help. Once they’re all up, trim will go up and it’ll have a boxed and smooth look… at least I hope it does.

It looks atrocious right now, but I can see the endgame, and I think it’ll do wonders for visual appeal when it’s complete.

I’ve used the sharkbite connections and pex with great success and it’s like 2 minutes of work

Yeah, wooden and insulation everywhere, always fun with a torch… The sharkbites are so quick and easy.

And thanks bro, it’s been something of a journey. I’ve learned a lot in the last 2 years of changing pretty much everything about this place

Couple more pieces up. I had to add trim because it was looking so bad even I was second guessing the idea :rofl: but I am relieved. It will be good when it’s completed

Looks awesome! :star_struck:

Looks like 25000 dollars worth of work.

Nice man, very nice. How long? Complete demo?

I’m going to guess minimum of $50.

Dave, I wanted to tell you how great all your work looks too!!! Youre totally transforming that place

Thanks bro, it’s definitely being transformed and molded into the image we have wanted.

Step sister dropped by today, she lived here for about a year a few years back and she was shocked at how it looks now. I always say “it’s gettin there”:rofl: and they’re just shocked.

Nothing about it is about return on investment, it’s an old trailer and will never be worth a hell of a lot, it’s just about improving our quality of life.

Finally got all the front area panels hung and did some more trimming. Even in it’s rough shape, blows the old ceiling away in looks

Yeah, it looks amazing and you can’t put a price on the pride you get doing the work and the rest of the family enjoying it all!
Plus you got the kiddos interested in helping dad out sometimes!

This is so gorgeous! Really love it! :+1::+1:
Did you build the cabinets aswell?

This was new construction. The company I work for builds custom homes. I had never rally done cabinets on this scale until like 8 months ago. So I am pretty proud of this kitchen because I did everything in it

As far as the price, it’s prolly closer to $50 K.

Nice, I’d like to work from a straight, clean, prepped surface with even spacing sometime :rofl: everything I’ve done has had 3 or 4 pivots because I’m working with what the good lord provided :rofl:

Looks fantastic man, and all by yourself. Atta boy cowboy

Nice, I like the simple panel accent on the front, utilization of all that corner space. Does it have a hollow space inside for storage by chance?
