First time cooking with tempeh…will be interesting!
I e been told that if you steam it first it takes away some of the tangy flavour. I don’t bother since I’m used to it now.

Cauliflower and tempeh curry with peas. So good! @VSue I didn’t taste any off notes. It was great.
Jalapeño Lime BBQ tofu tacos. Very good but I’m burping a lot of raw garlic…so healthy but so so stinky.
My hubby cuts it into strips, then dunks it into a BBQ marinade and air fries it.
Just a “quicky” unpretentious Saturday night salad. Thick slices of avocado pear, cucumber, tomatoe and peppadews.
Puréed potato, leek, asparagus, peas, and carrot soup with fresh dill and seasoned croutons.
Perfect for spring.
Niçoise salad….apparently. I’ve never had one before do not sure. Potatoes in a salad seems odd. But oh so tasty!! (“Tuna” is chickpeas and tofu)

Not vegan… but most of my food is! Eggplant, mushrooms, red bell peppers, fresh garlic, fresh ginger. This is sort of a staple for me. Been making it for years and really like it. Eating it in wraps some lately.
