Do you say Pop or Soda?

And soda prevailed, all is right with the world :joy::rofl:

Iā€™m mildly amused, alongside the horror :stuck_out_tongue: , because Iā€™ve literally only heard it called soda on TV or in films. Never once in person.

Itā€™s soda all day round here. Pop is quite rare. Thatā€™s how we do it in the wild wild west.

Pop is what we call it in the civil west :joy:

I refer to it as ā€˜whichever fizzy drink I wantā€™. Fanta, Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite or Hazelnut Coffee.

Faygo is the only Pop

Mountain Dew is life.

Iā€™ve always said I wanna a Coke

We say Pop in Iowa

Neither. We just say ā€œcooldrinkā€ or ā€œsoft drinkā€ (rarely) over here.

Always have said ā€œsodaā€ as a kid, the first time I heard the word ā€œpopā€ asked by my great grandmothers friend if we wanted any and we didnā€™t know what she was talking about. Lol
