Favorite and worst Halloween candy you got as a kid?

Those things are really delicious. I’m a sucker for sweet/salty type treats, so I love covered pretzels. Add in Reese’s PB and caramel and it’s definitely the type of thing I can’t keep in the house.

I once got a toothbrush and dental floss at a house. Pretty bad.

But I hate those orange and black wrapped taffy things, nasty! And don’t care for Good N Plenty.

I didn’t like getting little bags of raisinettes either!

My wife picked up a couple bags of candy to give out to the kids on Halloween. That was one of the bags. Its open already, and it has absolutely no chance of making it till the 31st.

I’m assuming the first ones are like the sour gummies. (Sour patch kids). Are the other bags chocolates ?

Good and plenty are f’n nasty.

The first one is chocolate with coating.
The second bag is not chocolate at all! It’s a special type of liquorice that has been flavoured with “salmiak salt” aka ammonium chloride. Yep. It’s often called salty liquorice or salmiakki in Finnish. It’s sweet and salty at the same time.

Oh okay. What are the blue and red, sugar coated things at the top?

They are “fizzy bottles”; bubble gum flavoured soft candies with sour sugar on top. Some small companies have that as an ice cream flavour and it’s soooo good!

The mushrooms are a type of marshmallow, with “strawberry” flavour. I’ve eaten a lot of them but I still can’t identify the strawberry LOL

My Pop used to put the little Snickers bars in the freezer and give them to us when we went over there. Break your fuckin teeth trying to eat them. But they were good.

100% agree with Reese’s and black licorice is
