Im 30 days sober today! Im not gonna lie and say it was a walk in the park, i have my moments especially at night. I do have my 2 amazing dogs to help. I know I’ll never go in somewhere and purchase alcohol im physically strong enough and smart not too but mentally even just thinking about it eases me but also hurts me.?

As I’m sure you already know, addiction is a nasty bitch. Be sure to stay focused and take good care of yourself so you can post in the future about how you have doubled, tripled, 1000x your previous best streak.

Congratulations on 30 days, that’s fantastic!! When I hit 30 it felt like, “okay, I can actually do this if I keep making the effort” versus the white-knuckling of the first couple of weeks.

Honestly. I spend more genuine time with my fiancé and my dogs. I deep clean everyday and write in my journal my thoughts my dreams I apply for jobs. Food 1000%!! I always think about the present and take things slow and admire life now. I chuckle when I realize that if you notice every place has alcohol Bowling alleys, sky zone, everywhere and I’m proud that I don’t need it to have fun or run away anymore

Congratulations on your 30 days!! I know what a challenge those days are. It helped me a lot in early days to come here every day and read A LOT and check in on people. I also did a lot of baking and working out. Kept my mind from getting ahead of me. Hope to see you around!
