We have great mussels too, especially on east coast, but finding smoked ones that are local is challenging. Fresh is easy though. Yummmm!
Made beef stroganoff for the kids. It sucked
With braised red cabbage salad was good
Having family over was the best.
I’m so grateful to be sober for my new family life. And that’s all that matters.
Oh no, why did the stroganoff suck? It looks yummy for sure
Bad recipe. It certainly wasn’t the chef To make it easier I made it with pre cooked shredded beef like the recipe called for. It looked good in the pic. Just bland and stringy.
Well, you certainly whetted my appetite, am cooking stroganoff and red cabbage tomorrow. Only my cabbage will be with chunks of apple, raisin and cinnamon, like my grandma made it. That and served with mashed potatoes
I simmered mine with a chopped apple in it. And some onion. Added a little vinegar salt pepper and sugar.
Am I the only one here who likes junk food? I have lost 4.5 Kgs in the last couple of weeks and I guess I am compensating
Nope. I love junk food. Chips (fries) especially. Would eat them every meal if I could… But alas, I realised it was my responsibility not to do that . Good for you on the weight loss.
bruschetta
Sweet basil pureed with pecorino, almonds, garlic and cream tossed with penne pasta with added chicken
Maybe I can’t change my attitude…
Not with that attitude
At least you’ll always have capers. Am I right?
And you can pick that dill off there and throw it in the trash
Is that a chicken cutlet Parmesan?
That looks delicious
Stop messing around with my Internet steal.
No Rye and No Dill on my lox.
And yes - Even the friends I am staying with have a HUGE amount of capers.
Yes, thanks! I made it with thick spaghetti and a tomato basil sauce with fresh parm and garlic bread
