Foodies Unite #11 (trigger warning food) WE CANNOLI DO SO MUCH, BUT OUR LEGACY WILL BECOME A PIZZA HISTORY

A spring salad with edamame, cashews, sunflower seeds, cranberries, and feta with a ACV vinaigrette; garlic and lemon sauteed artichoke hearts; and salad shrimp. Yum!

When I get ahold of my things, you will have to see them all! When you haven’t touched them in a year and a half, they become super important. :face_blowing_a_kiss:

I WILL NOT!!!

Not when I can buy 2 slices at The Vintage Grocers. With a fresh loaf of sourdough :face_savoring_food:

I did however take your advice and freeze the other slice. And their tater salad was pretty good too.

Chicken and Broc in a garlic sauce with some mashed cauliflower. I put cream cheese in the mashed cauliflower instead of butter.

And Jojo rather work from the couch. He’s a bum!!

I usually like butter melted on a bagel. However, the smoke alarm went off for the first time since I have been here. Mean roommate help? Nope to the nope. I do love Schar GF bagels though. Pepper bacon makes me happy, too. Trying to put away my anger.

Still tickled over the fact I can pick my own mandarin oranges, if I remember, for lunch. I don’t have many. Hopefully I’ll get more again sometime.

I’d kill for a good peach @ICanAndWill I don’t care how ugly. I guess these guys aren’t that ugly.

If you dip one end of the orange slice in dark chocolate and sprinkle the top of the chocolate with a bit of sea salt, then let it harden, it is delicous. They make for great healthy party treats.

Yes!

Also this is the only Catholic Church around for at least a 20 minute drive…so they’ve really monopolized the Fish Fry game. :joy:

They used to hold fish and chip night every Friday here at our local legion. My grandparents used to take me there for it when I was little. I remember line ups like this there as well

Well I live in a small town where 50% are Catholic and the other 50% want to be as far away from anything that smells Catholic, and that involves fish fries. :joy: So this church definitely makes bank this season.
