Sounds tasty! Think it would be worth me making if I made without the sugar? Or do you recommend that be essential?

I think it’s a matter of taste. I only add a couple tablespoons to mine, and it tastes plenty sweet. I could probably cut that to 1 tablespoons and it’d still be awesome. Give it a try without.

Hubby came through on a really rough day and cooked a roast in the crockpot. I talked him through it and he even seared the meat and deglazed the pan for extra yummy flavor. His first time cooking a roast! We are all better after a good meal, and my boy Chucho couldn’t help but gobble some up, too. Lots of gratitude over here.

I just love a Schnitzel :yum:
Chicken Schnitzel with roasted green beans and potatoes. And just a little squeeze of lemon on top.

This makes me hungry! Looks gorgeous. How did it taste? I have said for months I was going to bake bread but have not. I even researched bread makers but decided on an instant pot instead. We have a big winter storm coming tomorrow so it might be a good time for bread baking!

It was soooo good. Definitely not my nanny’s bread we’d have on the farm back in the day, that she made from hand with fresh churned butter, but pretty close :yum: Doesn’t keep long but it didn’t last long :joy: I made garlic bread with the last of it that was not as fresh.
My husband only wants me to make white bread as that’s what he likes  but I’m excited to try so many types… rye, spelt, poppyseed, savoury parm…Today since I’m off, might do oatmeal buttermilk. Stay tuned! :bread: :yum:

Here’s the oatmeal buttermilk bread. Although I subbed kefir for buttermilk. Yum! Excuse me while I put too much fresh butter on it while it’s still warm :yum:

I don’t understand this crazy talk. What is this “too much” you speak of?

Super healthy, very garlicky. Brown rice and quinoa, zucchini, squash, eggplant. I will add cayenne to mine because it’s cold outside and I like it.

Whipped up some veggie tacos with black beans for lunch.

Added jalapeños to mine.

Yours looks great!! But I just can’t get into the quinoa thing. I’ve tried and tried. But I did like a place in Venice Beach Cali that had a great quinoa burger.

lol :joy: lol

I like it better when it’s mixed with rice, or something. It actually works really well in tabouleh. I use that because I am not supposed to eat the bulgur. We get quinoa burgers from the freezer section at Aldi. They are really good.

Chocolate cheesecake my little guy and I made. He cut this mangled piece. A touch soft in the middle but that makes it tasty  I’ll cut myself a bigger piece and eat in honour of @AyBee’s 600 today :yum:
