I heard there was a foodie thread. Looks like it was 7 days old. Made a great meat sauce Tuesday night very comforting. I prefer linguine wifey prefers spaghetti. So we have it with spaghetti The easiest things seem to be the most comforting.

Ha! I compromised too as hubby loathes whole grain pasta so I did white tonight.
I try to make whole grain for my noodle-obsessed 5 year old for more fibre/nutrition. And I switch up shapes for him for variety as he’s so picky but at least he’ll try different shapes. And even chickpea pasta, black bean, lentil pasta etc. Although only butter & cheese; no sauce

Been a while since I posted supper pics. Here we have roasted pork tenderloin with a raspberry balsamic reduction sauce, gratin potatoes and roasted asparagus.
Yesterday I got take out lunch… Kimchee bowl. Brown rice, sautéed kale, sprouts, purple cabbage, peanuts, sunflower & pumpkin seeds, kimchee with a delicious peanut satay dressing.
This is a common dish here in Canada. It’s called Poutine. Typically French fries, gravy (or poutine sauce) with cheese curds. Some places do shredded cheese but the curds are the authentic way and are the best!
