We actually don’t do medium rare hamburgers here for risk of foodborn illness. Not with pre-ground beef at least. Only whole cuts/steak or if it meat that’s been immediately ground.

We took one of our instant pots with us to the cabin we stayed at this week🥰
Made potatoes and corn on the cob in there and steaks on the grill one night :drooling_face:

I love a good rye bread. So hard to find here in Arizona. Best ones I ever had was was fresh baked in Austria I think it was. Everyone in my party was buying sweet pastries at the bakeries. I came back to the hotel with a fresh baked rye and coffee for my breakfast. Is it hard to make bread? I never done it before. I can cook but I’m not much of a baker.

Oh, wow Austrian rye sure sounds interesting! I lived in Central Europe for a while back in the day and some of the bread they sell is amazing :slight_smile:

I’d say that in general (and as with everything else) bread making varies from beginner friendly to rocket science :smile: So you can definitely get started with an easy recipe and ingredients available to you. I don’t have any fancy equipment either just regular cooking and baking tools.

Here’s an easy-ish one

I love the Dutch/Frysian rye bread which is rather different. My friend in America loves it too but has a hard time finding the broken rye and rye bran needed to make it. It’s tight,dense and moist. Great with cheese (of course) and butter. Or next to pea soup.

It’s pumpkin spice season :jack_o_lantern:
Unfortunately I’ve got no Starbucks or Pumpkin spiced items where I live, so I made my own Psl (Pumpkin Spiced Latte) with homemade Pumpkin spice.

I know, I know it’s “only August” but I’m in Sweden, Sweden is cold. I’ll be here in my fall Sweaters with everything Pumpkin Spiced I can make, enjoying life :blush::jack_o_lantern::maple_leaf:

You do you girl. :+1: That’s awesome. I OD’d on pumpkin spice lattes the first couple of years they hammered us with them over here. I can’t face it now. But I would love a good pumpkin bread or soup :yum:

Thank you so much. I’m going to man it up and try it. I love bread. Especially fresh home made. I’ve always been too chicken to make it. Afraid I’ll fail. Old feelings of an addict :grimacing:
What’s the worse that can happen ? I watched the video and another one very similar after it. It shouldn’t be too hard.
:pray:t2::heart:
