Yummy breakfast
I’m coming over for leftovers.
Is that a smoothie with the listed ingredients on the cup? How does it taste?
What leftovers?
It’s taste great!! This particular one is not my favorite but it’s good. Very very low cal. We got a delivery service over here called Daily Harvest. They deliver the cups like that with all the ingredients frozen in the cup once a week. I just add water or coconut water or oat milk depending. And put it in my blender. I don’t have to do all the work of shopping and chopping.
Rye is hard! Just need higher hydration. I recommend the Tartine book.
Homemade pasta from scratch round 2, this time making fettuccine style noodles. Made a roasted red pepper puree sauce with spicy italian sausage. Not the prettiest picture, it just didn’t last long
Banana bread made with a mix of rice flour, oat flour and bananas (duh). No sugar. Doesn’t grow much but very tasty and a bit sweet.
It ain’t Lobstah @Dragonflygirl82
But it is the only place I buy my chowder from. You know you can’t find a good chowdah out west? Maybe San Francisco. But they like to put it in a bread bowl. My favorite place was the No Name on the docks in Boston.
No one makes Chowdah like Bostonians
I checked out Daily Harvest after reading your post (a little late) and it looks pretty good! A bit pricey so I’m gonna try to make my own smoothies first and see if I can get myself to stick with it then I might splurge on those as a healthy treat.
Thanks for the recommendation!
Ya most people tell me DH is a bit pricy. We don’t eat out anymore cuz of the pandemic and with all the money I’m saving not drinking I find it manageable. And the ease of not shopping for all the different ingredients and all the prep work and the healthiness of making them at home is worth it to us. Just add you favorite liquid or water. I usually use coconut water or oat milk. I don’t know if you saw the carrot cinnamon one I posted but it’s like carrot cake in a shake. I love it!!
