Lol. I’m looking at your breakfast while I just got into bed. I made my first dough this afternoon. It’s sitting in the pantry. Going to bake it fresh for lunch tomorrow with some veggie soup. There will be a pic of my mad bread skills tomorrow
Well it taste good. Most of it.
I call it Butt Ugly G bread.
I’m at 7000 ft in the mountains. Might need to make some adjustments
I’m camping soon. Hopefully I’ll grab some photos of food. Nothing gourmet I’m afraid lol. Maybe I’ll do mussels over the fire
Wow, for a first bread that looks AMAZING! Seriously, I don’t think I got mine to rise Butt Ugly G… Well I’m glad you like it. I have no idea about baking so high above sea level. My country doesn’t even have mountains I hope you find more stuff you like. The world is your bread dough
P.s. I’m looking at your lunch bread while going to bed
Your too kind. My surename begins with a “G”.
That’s how I got the name “Butt Ugly G” bread . I didn’t look very pretty IMO
I’m going to work on it. I won’t give up. The guy in the video said you got to work with the volume. Maybe less water next time because I didn’t actually have a nice piece of dough to bake. It was pretty loose and pourable.
Thanks for your encouragement.
I wait until the end of July every year with such excitement-waiting for the heirlooms to come into season so I could make colorful dishes! This is one of them
@Olivia
Got my second loaf on this afternoon. I think it looks much better. Hopefully I’ll get the hang of it. I Really want to try a rye. Got to do some googling on that. I’ll get there.
That looks very tempting
Seems to be you’ve got a pretty good thing going on already mr. No I’ve never made bread before!
Finnish style pancake. Thin, fried with butter on a pan. Can be eaten with sweet or savoury toppings. My favourite is plain but soooo good: extra butter and sugar
@Fury
Delicious. We do Swedish pancakes the same way. Mostly eaten with Strawberry jam and served as lunch, or dinner. My boys eat theirs with cinnamon and sugar
Many similar things with Finland and Sweden How old are your boys, of you don’t mind me asking?
I ate 3 of these, dad ate about 6
They are 8 and 10. They usually eat about three or four, like me. My husband on the other hand can easily eat like 10
Yes a lot of things are similar,and that’s lovely.
That looks soooo good!!! I’d almost lick my phone…
Oh baby! That looks amazing
