Tonight’s supper; using up garden veggies… I made tenderloin steak for me (bone-in rib steak for hubby), Greek seasoned pasta salad, sautéed onions, and roasted carrots. I don’t strive for plate presentation as you can tell

I think your presentation is spot on. I can’t stand it when chefs stack one thing on top of the other. Like mashed potatoes with a piece of fish on top and then some broccolini on top of the fish topped with some fried onion strings. And then a drizzle. I love just knocking it over in front of the waiter
That reminds me. Lunch today. Home made avocado mash ala @KFury with my homemade whole wheat bread ala @Olivia with a couple scrambled.

My first time roasting carrots too! I grew up in a house of steaming/boiling everything, and minimal seasoning except for salt lol (sorry mum, still love ya and miss you & your cooking). I used EVOO, sea salt, garlic, and a dash of a maple seasoning I have) Hubby is meat & potatoes guy and not very adventurous but I’m the cook so he can deal lol
Recently started roasting broccoli which I’m loving but hubby not so much
Roasted carrots are the best. The sugars caramelize and bring out even more smoky sweetness. I love roasted broccoli, too.

Got my Finnish Pancake on this afternoon. Wifey loved them. Me too. I don’t do pancakes too often or sweet stuff for meals but these were so easy to make. Next time ima put powdered sugar on the top.
