Ice cream sandwich
@Dolse71 - They look delicious! I love the tree cake most! Did you pipe the decoration?
@Josh_Kabestra - is that orange gel?
orange juice, thickened with agar agar
piped the tree and orange paste food colouring.
Sos not both questions for me
So, when I pop out to visit, you may make me this. Thanks.
Oh nice! Sounds like a really refreshing cut-through
This isnt food BUT… I finally got round to buying a replacement ‘Go-to’ knife. I’ve got a few sets of knives for different purposes but I always had one “Go-to” for pretty much everything and it’s one if these. It’s a victoronix pastry knife and they’re awesome! They’re really well weight-balanced, the handle is made of rosewood and they’re just a really versatile lightweight blade. It’s a really useful knife to have in the kitchen for pastry, veg, bread, cooked meats, fruit, salad and most cheeses This one was £40 and they’re worth every penny. They “can” be sharpened with a rounded steel but it’s highly unlikely you’ll ever need to
This is pretty identical to my ideal breakfast or dinner and I eat it alot. Or with a full salad. Yum!
Guys!!! I have been totally derelict on this thread. Y’all are cooking some damn tasty food! @AyBee you’re slaying the food game right now!
Here’s my contribution today:
Snowy day Chili Colorado (pork shoulder simmered for hours in a sauce made from ancho, pasilla and guajillo Chiles, garlic, oregano, sage, cumin) served over cauliflower rice
With cabbage slaw, pickled onions, spicy pico de Gallo, avocado, Cotija cheese and sour cream.
Pretty darn tasty. Snow days used to mean I was drunk off my ass, doing blow and randomly texting dudes I used to hook up with. Today I taught yoga, then took a yoga class, grocery shopped and then made this. Life is better sober
Today’s dinner was venison bacon bombs and venison sirloin. All smoked to a perfection melt in your mouth taste
That looks BOMB!!! Yum.
