I have two also but the other loaf doesn’t look as pretty :joy: plus I may have had a slice already. I hope you like it too!

Making up for lost time today! Breakfast: Banana spinach and berry smoothie; Lunch: Garden tomato and cucumber salad with fresh mozzarella and balsamic dressing; Dinner: Tostadas de carnitas and a ginger lemonade fizzy drink (not pictured); Dessert (atypical but why the hell not!): Freshly baked brownie muffins and decaf earl grey tea (not pictured). It’s been a lovely day for eating. Happy Friday!

@Dazercat Sour cream is never optional  Your bread turned out awesome! I’m that person who puts butter (real butter) on all my breads. Sometimes on muffins too. I’m a total heathen haha
@IcanIwill Your bread turned out really nice. Love that crust you have going on top!
@RosaCanDo Your food for today is making me hungry! Your Tostadas de carnitas look so delicious.

Not really a meal but friends stopped by with some American groceries and candy. A lot of it, like Apple Jacks, Hot Tamales and Candy Corn was out of stock. But I’m really happy anyway

Oh man, I don’t think I’ve had apple Jack’s in forever but suddenly I can vividly remember how they tasted as a child when I would visit my aunt and she would have them for her kids, and we never got sugar cereals when I was a kid except for maybe holidays. So now I’m on memory lane with the taste and texture and the cold milk… Crazy how that can happen sometimes.

That’s too bad they were out of the Apple Jack’s, but you got a nice stash anyway!

I never had apple jacks until two years ago. We don’t have that kind of sugary colorful cereals in Sweden.

This will sound strange, but if you do get some candy corn, mix it up with salted peanuts. Sooooo tasty!

Ugh. And I thought we were friends :joy::stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes::rofl:
How could you do that to a peanut :peanuts:

Lol!!! I was skeptical before I tried it because I don’t like candy corn by itself. But the mix of sweet and salty is sooooo good! Don’t knock it till ya try it!
