It’s a grey, cold and damp morning, so decided on a comfort breakfast. Biscuits and gravy are one of my joys in life, I have them maybe quarterly in a year. These were frozen biscuits but came out great. Spicy sausage gravy spiked with Cholula hot sauce and more on top.

That all looks so good :yum:. Too early here to eat yet. But that’s making me hungry.
I hope y’all enjoy the fritters.

Some one in my apartment building is cooking with garlic. Like LOADS of garlic. I just came home and the smell in our stairway was so pungent it made my nose tickle. I kid you not. I wish I knew which neighbour. I’d invite myself over :star_struck: :stuck_out_tongue:

It sounds delicious, but unfortunately I’m allergic to peanuts. Like it would kill me if I tried allergic.

Awww I’m sorry! I had no idea! Well just enjoy that candy corn then. I’ve seen different colors for different holidays too. I think there was a green, pink and white one for Easter once.

Ha! I have leftovers, but that’s a pretty long drive, lol. The downside is now I feel the need to spend an hour on the treadmill after that meal, which I am actually about to do. It’s all good though!

Don’t be sweetie, there’s no way you could know that. Maybe It’ll work with salted almonds? I think it might be the sweet+salt combo that makes it. Otherwise I’ll make another family member try and tell me if it was good. I’ve heard something about people putting Peanuts in Coca-Cola too.

I think almonds would work as well! Though I’ve never put peanuts in coke! lol

Ready for oven! Can’t wait until it’s all melty
Making flatbread to go with my pasta supper of fusilli and meat sauce. This flatbread has fresh mozzarella, basil, garden tomatoes, and crumbled local pasture raised organic bacon on flatbread with pesto base. I love carbs too much :yum:

Do you mind @Salty if I invite myself over for supper. :joy: That looks incredible. Carbs are definitely my downfall. I’m trying to stick to a ketogenic diet. It’s been kind of rough but getting better. Have a beautiful day in sobriety.

We don’t do breakfast in the morning. But on the weekends I like to do breakfast food for lunch.
Tomato, Cream Cheese and Onion Omelette with a side of bacon. Kerry Gold butter, @Chiron with a hint of home made pumpkin bread.

That looks awesome. It never occurred to me to use cream cheese in an omelette. Very interesting! We also like to do breakfast foods at all meal times.

In the Kosher Deli I use to work at, the mushroom cream cheese with onion omelette was probably the biggest seller right next to my all time favorite lox and onion omelette. But I don’t like mushrooms in my omelettes for some reason. If you do try it, a little bit of cream cheese goes a long way after it gets all melty. :yum:
