Foodies Unite #2

How about floors? Y’all throw in doing my floors and maybe we can arrange things. @Olivia with six pets and you know the saying “the better the chef the dirtier the kitchen.”
@Milele and maybe a little pet sitting? And it sounds like Ed could lead our meetings :pray:t2:
Love you guys :two_hearts:
Fun to wake up to this. Thank you I needed this, this morning.

As hard as that was it sounds like a good start. A success. Except for the vomiting. Have a great sober rest of your day. Enjoy your groceries :yum:

Too much sugar. I want to keep my 45 pounds that I lost this year OFF.

I do prefer a slice of cream cheese icing with an essence of carrot cake if I had my way :yum: :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I hope you get something useful from the therapy, especially after how exhausting that sounded. Everything looks so beautiful! I put peach syrup in my smoothie this morning, what a coincidence! I can’t wait see see your culinary creations from this bounty. I am picking up an order from a new local farmer co-op this afternoon and I can’t wait to see what I get.

How was the bread?!

Looks awesome! I’m just starting to dabble in plant based eating. I have 1 or 2 days a week where I only eat plant based foods. The rest of the week I just try to eat more plants. It’s usually breakfast and lunch, then I’ll have a more “regular” dinner.

I’m so curious to see the effects, but I want to ease into this new way of eating, instead of just jumping in with both feet and probably struggling a lot.

Turned out great! Even better the day after it set in the fridge. Had Leftover Cool Whip one day on it, kinda made it dessert. And just real butter the next day :yum:. So much sugar though. I’m not use to baking. Thanks. I assumed yours was good since you were already missing a piece. :yum:

I know there’s no way that I can compete with your beauty @Olivia , so my best bet would be to plead with @Dazercat to build me a dog house out back and you guys could throw me scraps once in awhile. As good as the food looks/is and a slice of your bread I will be perfectly happy with leftovers/scraps.

P. S. I know how to roll over and shake. I do enjoy a good belly rub once in awhile. Maybe @Milele could take me for a walk now and then :joy:

Here’s a gorgeous looking Ginger Greens smoothie with banana spinach avocado lemon and flax seed. I dressed it up in a nice kitchen goblet.

I got to admit it doesn’t taste as lovely as the carrot puke smoothie  @Figgie

And @NDFive that rainbow trout looks amazing. And I’m very curious about that onion spinach potato cake and smashed garlic ? Looks really good. :yum: :yum:

Beef Chili with cheddar and Greek yogurt.
Seems like whenever we have chili it gets turned into frito pie. Well it happened again. How does one eat chili without Fritos Corn Chips?

I have never served chili that way. Don’t tell my husband. I’m trying to get him off chips and if he sees that. …

Thanks. I want to try that. Don’t know what wifey will think of ruining good potatoes with garlic and spinach :joy:

I’m a yankee and I don’t know much about chili. But rice don’t sound right to me. I didn’t think Fritos was right either. But my southern wife has assured me and has me eating it that way all the time. And it’s darn good.

Glad you liked my smoothie. I think it was the glass that made it look better.
