So excited for comfort food on a shit day today.
Haven’t had a Meatloaf in like forever.
I think I hit the gravey like I used to hit my booze :crazy_face:

Also learned meatloaf pics are not that exciting either :flushed:

Not exactly sure what in liking :heart: here but it sounds pretty good. Potatoes onion bacon and cheese casserole???

Tartiflette sounds so much more elegant than casserole…AKA hot mess. Maybe it has something to do with being on the other side of the pond. I just know I want some even though I can’t pronounce the name of it in French. :joy:

We did a foodie thing and made homemade ravioli! lots of lessons learned. it tasted amazing though. about $30 worth of cheese usually does taste pretty good though.

Clotted cream ice cream? What’s that? I don’t think we have that in the US

Everything is better with cheese. Although I am not a fan of apple pie with cheddar. But I don’t knock it. This thread is making me want to make my Vermont Cheddar Macaroni and cheese SOON. I BET @Figgie has a great Mac n cheese recipe :yum:

I have 2 recipes: a fancy NYT involving $2,060 worth of Gruyere - https://cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1019251-classic-baked-macaroni-and-cheese
But also I’ve been known to make it with Velveta because I am from Pennsylvania and I was born in 1962 and that was the way GOD INTENDED mac and cheese to be made.

That settles it. Velveeta :scream: !! You and my wife would get along great :+1:. No one even knows what’s in Velveeta :thinking:. She’s from Houston and that’s how she makes her Mac n cheese. With hot dogs on top? I’d never had it that way and never would have until I met her.
:pray:t2::heart:

Wifey is a purest though.
She just uses
Velveeta
Melts it with a can of evaporated milk on the stove.
Then adds it to the cooked macaroni.
And bakes it.
Three ingredients is more her style.
