I still eat laughing cow cheese triangles till this day!! I love them!! They now have made A Cream cheese style spread of it in a tub , so instead of having to open all the little red tabs in silver foil you just scoop it out of a tub! It’s heaven :joy:… So bad for you though lol :joy:… Definitely a red food Eric :joy:

@RosaCanDo you got me eager to start up my office Aerogarden again! I only put 4 of 6 pods in. Two genovese basil, two salad green. They’ve sprouted. My bunny will be excited for lettuce!

How exciting! Ooooo maybe that will be my Christmas present! I’d do it just to have fresh basil and cilantro year round, honestly.

I think I’ve used GF oats before. Definitely should work. Same as regular oats without the risk of cross-contamination of gluten. If I use longer cooking/old fashioned oats vs quick oats, I leave to soak a bit longer or rarely even overnight. I usually would about an hour for longer cooking oats. Some folks grind the oats for a flour-type smooth consistency but I’m trying to get him to be more accepting of textures. Also helps with satiety leaving whole. I’ve not done steel cut oats/oat groats. Don’t think they would turn out well unless grinded.

Been thinking about this easy roasted chicken and rice ever since you posted your chicken dinner.
Basics are the best. :yum:

I think this was the best dinner I’ve ever made.

@Olivia
I called an audible on that peanut butter bread recipe. I put bananas and chocolate chips in it :yum:
@Chiron wasn’t sure if I should put butter on it or not. But since it’s bread :man_shrugging:

You definitely should put butter on it, otherwise it would be naked and then your bread would be flashing its tasty bits at everyone and you can’t have that. :laughing:

But for real, a good quality butter with sea salt sprinkled on it is the best on any bread, even sweet bread. In my humble opinion, of course. :wink:

Grapefruit is amazing. You know what is ridiculously good? sprinkle brown sugar on the grapefruit then put it under the broiler in the oven briefly so that the brown sugar and the sugars from the grape fruit caramelize on the fruit slices. Not an every day thing of course, but it’s good.

Pan seared salmon, roasted cauliflower, carrots and chickpeas with curry spices and finished with parm/Romano cheese, and almost the last of the garden tomatoes. I’ve been craving fishies for dinner for a long time!
