You just made me soooo hungry!
A classic Italian comfort food
PASTA FAZOOL
Dad approved⌠hard to top my Great Grandmother⌠I am a contender. MANGIA!
You didnât even get any of your cake
No. Thereâs no kind of English custard over here like that. I would say a custard over here is like a flan. Not a sauce. A more solid substance like a pudding. But not a Yorkshire type pudding.
The times I been over there I would rather a huge jug of the custard and the heck with the cake or whatever.
We stayed up in Matlock? Derbyshire? Once with the boys soccer team. At Lea Green and each dessert they always had a pitcher of custard on the table. It was so good.
On a separate note the boys sure got a kick out of the âSpotted Dickâ on the specials board in the pubs. I guess they were 12-13. Fun times. Really was.
Ya that really sucks. I hope you didnât actually need them in your recipe. Avocados can be so hit or miss. And they arenât cheap.
We have 28 chickens. For my week of farm duties, dependent on the time of year, I get 5 to 15 dozen a week.
We can. At least I can, like at Whole Foods or Sprouts. Or even the big grocery stores market it. But it just isnât the same. You can market or advertise anything on your label over here and it doesnât have to be true.
âLocalâ is still relatively commercial egg operations. I like my happy free-ranging girls. I donât like the families I co-op with.
Oh it was good! Wish I could actually cook like this tho lol
It doesnât get sadder than this. I buy only green and store in a paper bag until ready - and still I get this sometimes.
@Dazercat I wanted to tell you that my Lupita is happily enjoying her home cooked food. We have tested it and she just wonât eat her regular food now without the added bonus. I am absolutely okay with that, itâs healthy for her and it gives me something to do.
Avoâs are like $4 a pop here its highway robbery! I really dont understand why they so expensive. Something to do with the farming? Iâm uneducated on this info
That rascal. Sheâs playing ya.
Sheâs worth it too. Right !
Smoothie time frozen banana , peanut butter, maple syrup, chia seed, almond milk
no chopping needed with this one thank gosh. And it really fills my tummyI never thought of using this thread as a menu. Great idea
thank you!!! I have long argued that hummus (and gf crackers, veg, apple, whatever) is a good, well-rounded breakfast!
And hey, when I was still working from the office, it just kept my colleagues more than a safe social distance away!
Watched Goodfellas and made spaghetti and meatballs. I couldnât have the pasta, so I ate meatballs on a gluten-free baguette. I wish I had remembered to take a plate picture. We were too hungry!
