This icing was just cream cheese with some Canadian maple yogurt mixed in. No icing sugar. But I could eat it with a spoon

Haha I’d mail you some but Canada Post is a bit behind these days. Might be a bit fuzzy by the time it gets there
My wife got me a Dutch oven cookbook for my birthday and I picked this to make. Its a ratatouille with eggplant, tomatoes, zucchini and peppers.
Sweet potato roasted with honey, rock salt, black pepper and saffron is delicious. I do this pretty regularly with game meat because it cuts through that flavour really well and because the saffron is really aromatic, it gives you a warm feeling sensation at the same time as the potato sweetness.
Yesterdays dinner, Sweet and sour veggies. The others had Chinese dumplings and rice too. I don’t like any of it so I only had the veggies.
Swedish chocolate balls for dessert.
Sometimes, I want to leave my farm co-op, but I don’t ever want to go back to store-bought eggs! Spinach, onion, mushrooms, peppers. Side of black beans.
You’re so right about fresh eggs! When you can taste the happiness of the chickens, it’s a good thing.
Beautiful!
Noice
Very noice

to go with that?
I would love a nice custard on my deserts. I miss that.
I miss my hen laying eggs from down the street at the James Ranch in Durango. You had to get there pretty early or they’d run out. I never knew the difference until I had them from free range James Ranch hand picked. The difference is incredibly noticeable. And they aren’t all the same color
Kebab Salad, kids and hubby had kebab with French fries and salad. I skipped the French Fries and did just the Salad with kebab. Later added some vegan Kebab sauce.
So you’re saying that you guys can’t buy eggs from local farms in the store? Anyway it looks delicious.
I love my 5 chickens, although this winter has been cold and we have bought eggs…I shudder everytime I have to buy them now.
Is it like sad trombone? Or maybe something more Mexican, like an accordion? It really is the saddest thing ever.
