I’ll let you know next time we make it. It’s hard making a batch for just for 2. And I don’t think beef stew freezes well.

More eggs :joy: with wilted arugula on my homemade Italian parm bread. I should just get some laying hens

Looks great!! Love me a good pumpernickel. It’s been a really long time. Just got some Chompies Rye. Maybe you remember that from when you lived out here. Tucson right?

Yes! Chompies is good stuff!!! Yeah, I was in Tucson.

Ya they sell their bread at our Frys up here. When we lived in Anthem we’d make the Journey to Glendale once and awhile for a Reuben. Or their Corned Beef Hash and Eggs.
I miss a good Deli.

This soup is amazing! Sometimes the things you throw together last minute are the best!

6 cloves of garlic, veggie stock, turmeric, ginger, cumin, bay leaves.
Carrots, potatoes, onions, garbanzos.

We’re having a blizzard, why not?

That sure sounds like it would cure what ails ya! Lovely.

Ha! It’s a whole new world
definitely a big learning curve for me. I’m reading all I can from an Instant Pot Facebook group and might buy a cookbook, too.

I hid around the corner when I first used it

And now I’m debating an air fryer, or a Ninja Foodi grill (which also air fries, apparently)

:rofl::rofl: I grew up hearing my mom’s story of being left home alone with instructions to turn off the beans in the pressure cooker
she forgot and they burned and she opened it and beans hit the ceiling! She tried cleaning up and getting as much back into the pot, for what? To avoid notice? Oh, the mind of a child
apparently my grandma was just glad my mom wasn’t hurt and I’ve been scared of them ever since first hearing that story. But technology is pretty amazing and I feel like I can’t go wrong with this device if I follow the directions!
