Group Pizza night at my friends. There’s a lot of alcohol here and feeling a bit triggered. I hate to go home after dinner since there’s Christmas movies and games. But better to be alone then risk drinking
but for now some za!
Those look delicious! Have fun and take care of you.
Thanks Carolyn My friend made her own sour dough for the crust, so yummy. I had a slice and decided to leave. Back home with my sobriety intact happy I acknowledged that I felt tempted and decided to leave. Tomorrow will I’ll be cooking and be too busy to even think about drinking
I’m proud of you.
Thanks Rosa. I was thinking about you and your hubs earlier. If you can say no to a taste of his craft brewing adventures, I can leave a party early. I say before I go anywhere now that I’ll stop by. So I have an easy out
Love it. We do have choices and need to exercise those choices. And also not need to feel like we are deprived. I think that’s a big one for me. It’s just the best choice for us in that moment.
Looks like oats on that crisp? Looks super yummy.
Old fashioned oats, lots of salted butter , touch of flour, brown sugar (used a bit less than recipe called for but I still found a bit sweet)
I swear I was going to cook at home. But it was just kind of a cold wet blah gross day. Made tuna dip for Christmas and called it a night.
And went to.

ONION JAM GRILLED CHEESE

Tortas
A friend brought lots of fine cheeses and a cake. We had a picnic of sorts.
Yes she brought cheeses, cake, sweet tortas of all things. I thought I was doomed. I wanted to post but never had a chance to.
It ended up being fine, thanks to you all, me
Slowly learning to not eat the whole cake.
Also had ice cream. Coffee ice cream, my favorite. Avocado. Green beans, quinoa and bulgar. Something to kind of even out all the cheese. I really ate some cheese like a normal person.
I thought it was sunny and warm there? And dry? I know Cali is happy for the needed rain.
So happy for you. It all looks and sounds delish
Merry Christmas Alisa
I’ve been making lots of sugar-free treats, and this is one of the easiest and best tasting recipes I’ve used. I’m adding the source below. If you make these, keeping the dough in the freezer is a must… before and during baking if you don’t use up all the dough on your first pans. Also it’s best to not roll them by hand, because the dough needs to be really cold when it goes in the oven. These are yummy!
I feel like any day is a good day for guac!
