That looks and sounds glorious!

Small and delicious
Salmon Caesar
Kielbasa, peppers and onions. Served on brown rice. I made it a bit too spicy for me with cayenne and ancho chile but Eric loved it.
Oops and mushrooms. Worth mentioning!
The only way to have kale. Boiled and mashed together with spuds, with streaky bacon and Dutch smoked sausage. The kale should have been frozen too, if not in the field, then in the freezer, at least overnight.
Is freezing it to make it sweeter? Or more tender? This is new to me. Looks delicious.
The idea seems to be it will make it sweeter yes, forcing the kale to change some of its starch into sugars.
No accounting for taste.
Yeah, makes sense. I’ll have to try that next time! Thanks.
Correct!
Keep trying and you too can get some.
Funny man, keep it up!

Took a shot at making this corn & potato chowder for hubby. Used local corn I’d frozen that I’d shucked fresh off cob.
You’ve inspired me with this one. I have frozen local corn, too! And this sounds yummy.
I decided to shred the raw potato. Thought it might thicken it up nicely. I’ve done that before in a smoked salmon chowder.
Added some ham too… salty
Got my macaroons on today.
@Alisa
I went with the honey in the evaporated milk route. I just mixed it 50/50
They really need to be dipped in chocolate. They obviously aren’t as good as the ones made with condensed milk. But the condo does smell nice
I love having frozen homemade soups and stews available. Italian sausage and bean soup that I doctored up with frozen peas and carrots, an extra can of beans and chicken broth. Very tasty.
