Always hated drumsticks…now that I learned to do this…favorite part of the bird…when you add in its about the cheapest part…these were .99 a lb…can beat it

Made this ridiculous sandwich cookie. I rolled the sides in nuts, which I didn’t put in the first picture.
The chocolate is maple flavored and i heated it in the microwave just enough to soften the middle so I could more easily scoop it out.

We are enjoying lots of my Mami’s specialties while we are visiting, like Tinga (it’s always better when she makes it), cream of asparagus soup, a pot of creamy beans and ham, and more. This morning we went out and picked up some bagels for breakfast. This is an Asiago bagel lightly toasted with cream cheese, veg and a fancy chile lime seasoning.

I went to the local Steakhouse & got the “Tavern Burger”: two grilled beef patties, relish, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato & ketchup. It was messy, but it was so, so good!
