That looks good and something different
Good morning! Up quite early, but it’s okay because I got good sleep. Starting the day off with earl grey and toasted sourdough with cream cheese and figgy orange spread. I like that it’s not too sweet and perfectly tart.
Today’s smoothie experiment: frozen strawberries, bananas, and blueberries, Greek yogurt, fresh mint and lime juice. Effin’ A it’s good stuff!
Garlic, Lemon and Thyme Roast Chicken with Roasted veggies (carrot, potato, sweet potato, red and white onions). Pan gravy made with onions that roasted under the chicken. Served with some cold marinated artichoke hearts on the side for a vinegary zing! I’m not the best at pictures, but it tasted great.
Lunch at Canyon
Wings n Fries.
Dips on the side
Grilled veggie ciabatta
Mint cumin-hummus
Beef steak tomatoes, charred onions, grilled summer vegetable’s on a ciabatta bun
Looks lovely! Now I want a chicken dinner!
I like mine with a jalepeno…it boosts the metabolism…and is pretty tasty
Had lunch plans but my dude got called into the office so I ran some errands and was tempted by this discounted imitation crab salad (classy as always)…put it on a hoagie bun with garden dill, hot sauce and havarti and it was quite tasty.
Lunch on the deck.
BLT on rye of course.
Too much Mayo
Honey crisp with Santa Cruz organic peanut butter.
And a pomegranate green ice tea.
Rusty Taco, a short walk from our house. Not terrible, nothing to write home about, but I didn’t have to make it! Their achiote pork and pineapple tacos are pretty good, actually. There were picadillo tacos and green chile pork with pickled onions. Basic stuff. And everything tastes fresh. I got my sodium intake for the weekend, however. Forgot to take a pic at the very beginning. Happy Friday!
