I have always liked my pancakes plain… heavens no to the butter or maple syrup… (although I like each) … … when I was a child I may have had a very little bit of strawberry preserves, apple butter, or honey on my pancake.

Beef Indian Curry tonight!
It’s been in the slow cooker since 11am and the beef melts in your mouth, yum! The house smells amazing! Served with rice, pompadums and sliced banana coated in coconut

Sweet potoasties (my husband came up with that name ) with refried beans, avocado, queso fresco, Cholula chile lime, and garden cilantro, Swiss chard and green beans, for funsies!
Trying to make the tastiest food I can while on this elimination diet. Today was a good one:
Grilled chicken thighs, roasted Brussels, beets and butternut squash, garlic and lemon sautéed broccoli, mashed sweet potato w coconut milk, and arugula for some fresh bitter greens. Topped with a coconut yogurt tzatziki I made

Toasted egg sandwich. The bread has various seeds like flax, chia, pumpkin, sunflower, plus hemp meal. Had with sliced cucumbers and multicoloured mini tomatoes
Take out Friday night fish fry. I hadn’t had French Fries in a verrrryyyyy long time. Comfort food was needed today.
Was just feeling snacky after a healthy small dinner. So I made tostones with guacamole. Did not disappoint . Cholula on my husbands…but…no nightshades for me right now…still good though!
Kitchen therapy this morning. Egg scramble with leftover brats chopped up. Spinach, mushrooms, bell peppers, onion, plenty of cayenne to try and clear up my sinuses. And extra salted butter on my sourdough toast…just ‘cause.
After the rainstorm cleared, we decided to check out the farmer’s market. Beauty tomatoes already?!? I’m following @Salty’s lead and making a cooked strawberry rhubarb something for next week. To put on oats and maybe even ice cream. Grilling these onions tomorrow along with some shrimp and whatever else.
