Rhubarb is so amazing! I look forward to Rhubarb-y things you show us. do you grow your own rhubarb?

I love it too! This is from a neighbour who had too much. I’ve not grown it myself yet but I should!
I did a less sweet version of rhubarb crisp (here it is ready for oven). Hubby wasn’t a fan of the “less sweet” :joy: but I enjoyed it. Would be great with Greek yogurt… or ice cream to sweeten

I was definitely thinking ice cream! :ice_cream:

I tasted a bit before I served his. I knew that wouldn’t fly  So I sprinkled his with some of the extra brown sugar I’d omitted (I’m so mean lol) and topped his with whipped cream  He still found it too tart. We definitely have different taste buds. He’d be the type to put sugar on sweetened cereal haha

Some just don’t get into the face puckering tart like you and I, amiga! I’m on a mission to find rhubarb today…if I don’t I’ll certainly find some at the farmer’s market on Saturday

Smoothie morning. Lots in here: frozen strawberries, banana and blueberries, Greek yogurt, tablespoon each of chia seeds, cocoa powder and flax meal, fresh mint, handful of baby spinach and water (a bit too much…live and learn!)

Not bad!

Mid morning, post exercise and dog walk snackeroooo - toasted rye bread with cream cheese and strawberries (threatening to go soft on me!) to go with my Earl Grey tea. One with a bit of balsamic glaze. Pretty sure I’m obsessed with every single element of this snack.

That’s really nice of your neighbor!

Oh yeah, ice cream or yogurt, or… just eating it plain. “Less sweet” is nice, I think. Everything seems to be sweeter than it should be these dsys.

I HAD to post this… bcuz it was truly THE best salad I’ve made!! Haha
It’s a keto salad: lettuce, 1/2 avacado, cucumber, a little tomato, some shredded marble cheese, and a can of tuna, with keto friendly dressing. It truly doesn’t look like much but my body needed this today

It’s ok to be wrong.
We can’t all be right, otherwise there’d be no wrong… which you are.

Cucumbers! Cool, refreshing, hydrating.
@RosaCanDo nice to see you enjoying your bread so much! It works. A friend of mine who is a nutritionist of sorts has always said it’s very nutritious, nice for something with that longevity. I love it.

I bet it’s very nutritious! I swear it keeps me satiated and less likely to feel hungry too soon, too. I love the nutty flavor and dense texture.

Dang really?! We don’t get a lot of variety/fun hot sauces at my tiny town grocer but luckily they have the full spectrum of cholula options! I would totally order online if I couldn’t get it. As it is now I order my piri piri alaskan hot sauce online.
