Absolutely! I do it when I make my sauce for pasta!
Just throw it in when you’re simmering? Do you have to take it out?
Time to start making pizza! New toys…will see how my outdoor pizza oven works. (A cooking stone and a lid from a kettle style charcoal gril)
I leave it in when its simmering for about 15 minutes (that’s a guess). I take it out when it starts to get really soft. That makes a difference in taste.
Thanks, chef!
Supper. Egg salad with speckled pea shoots on toasted multi seed/grainy rye bread. On a Paw Patrol plate
I dont know if that is right…but it works for me
Put it on a baked potato!
Life changing investment. The best part of NOT using it in the house is your house will never have to smell like bacon or sausage or onion ever again. I know we all think we love the smell of bacon but on your clothes & furniture, etc.
Garden veg (some of it mine) and organic grass fed beef sauce with fettuccine and parmesan garlic bread. Fine chopped shiitake mushrooms that I needed to use made a big difference here.
My version of Dutch Stamppot! (yesterday)
Greek yogurt and fresh peach
Yum on all the food, nice, nice looking sandwich @Salty
@RosaCanDo nice to see you in your kitchen!
Hugs for Minnie xoxo
Early lunch at work. So hungry. Canadian west coast hand-packed smoked mussels, local strawberries, cheese & multigrain rye crisp crackers.
Stores only sell ones made in China. These were pricy but worth it. I ordered a case as it was a bit cheaper
I really felt like a nice salad today for lunch. I usually make salads for lunch but I don’t always add alot to them haha. Today was a salad with tuna, egg, celery, tomato, cucumber, cheese, and a peppercorn ranch dressing. Wanted to add avocado but it wasn’t ripe yet. Grrr. Lol
Cheeses sticks and French onion soup.
@Butterflymoonwoman
Salad for us too.
spinach salad with a raspberry vinaigrette.
Omg French onion soup is one of my FAVS!! And raspberry vinegarette dressing… yummm. That looks good and healthy!
