Your food looks delicious, and the cake looks so yummy i have been craving cake and ice cream since cutting out sugar months ago.
What i have found sounds similar to your experience ?
I found that foods i used to love and enjoy and would taste so amazing, then when i treat myself to them now they just dont have that effect on me and the wow has gone.
It doesnt taste or feel good like it used to and i end up thinking after… well i didnt really enjoy that, it wasnt as nice or enjoyable as id imagined.

Saying this after i have been eating so healthy and decided today to f* it and ate a pizza, but it just didnt do what it used to and i couldnt eat it all.

Hoping when i treat myself to ice cream next week i enjoy it

My sister is in from California so I met her and my other sister at my aunts house yesterday for our first stab at Macaron yesterday. :fr:

Labor intensive and somewhat challenging, but they came out great! Have to get a smaller tip and pastry bag so I can make them a bit smaller. Also I would probably use silicon instead of parchment and get the kind that has guidelines on it so it’s easier to get them uniformly small.

I love a group baking project where you might be too nervous to make the thing on your own, but then you come out of it going “oh ok…I can do this now” :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Just want to show an amazing little :tomato: box I got in the shopping to make a salad today for the park…

Trying to emulate this beauty from a London meal we had as a treat.

Thanks. It was tasty! I roasted a full bulb of garlic, too (my first time) and made garlic butter for the bread :yum:
