Just finished some hiking and figured I would get some food at a restaurant on my way to my sleeping spot/hiking area for tomorrow. I brought snacks and protein but in total I’ve done over 11 miles today with my run early this morning so starving Marvin over here

The only saving grace was the aji picante

Pictures of each meal please! :orange_heart:

Edit: just seeing your post above now about the lentil chili, lol. So maybe skip that pic! I commend your meal planning though! And that crockpot latin stew looked fab.

Cranberries and blueberries

Egg whites and tomatoes on top of cooked spinach with avocado and also with cucumbers.

@Deelzebub if I eat pizza the main thing I want on it are anchovies! Anchovies and jalapeños.

@Juli1 yum! I googled your cumin seeds! They’re also called nigella and black caraway! They’re different from US cumin. Looks so good!

Bon appetit everyone.

Happy Spring!

First time making this raspberry “jam” with dates, chia seeds and raspberries. The pancake is left over from my daughter’s breakfast plate as admittedly it was huge.

Ouuuh what a nice idea to create jam like this. Do you have a recipe?

Yes,
40g pitted dates, finely chopped
150g raspberries (fresh or frozen)
2-3 tsp chia seeds
Gently heat the dates in 2tbsp of water for a couple of minutes, stirring to form a smooth paste. Add the raspberries and chia seeds a and simmer for two minutes, mashing with a spoon. That’s it, and it’ll keep in the fridge for up to a week in an airtight container.

I made some bread today, and instead of salt I added seaweedpowder. But I am not realy happy about the taste so maybe add more next time :innocent:

Tried a new crockpot meal today. Chicken catchatore…its basically chicken breast, onion, artichoke hearts, spinich, and sundried tomatoes. It tastes better than it looks! 7/10. It will be interesting to see what the hubby thinks when he tries it after work.
